Hi, Playing around with pages of IPS beta4, I managed to get working as a manual html. Then trying to create a block given it an id, next I try to a page using a predefined 2 column template, but can not figured out where I put the include block like done in the old ip content. {block="my_block_key"} Also the old ip content allows you to reassign the order of the menu item, could not find where you can do that? Any help is appreciated! /LR

Hello! This problem has been actual in 3.4 too. I thought it will fix in 4.0 but it is not. When I create or edit database I can choose how items will be called in my language. For example in Russian language "article" translates as "статья". And this 4 strings are used in all place in Pages. It correct for English, but not for Russian (and also for some other languages like as Belarusian, Ukrainian, maybe Hungarian, Latin and other)... Russian language is a very complex language and with Grammatical cases. And every noun have 6 grammatical cases. Hi Ok so I have created a dev site and installed the latest suite. The ACP works fine however on the front end I can see the board index and when I click on any link, forum, topic, user etc it displays a 404 error. It's as if the Friendly URL's are not working. Any suggestions please? Thanks

Hi guys, I;d like to see sphinx in gallery. Today we have about 250k pictures and about 1.3m comments in gallery. Searching in natural way is killing our DB. Could You please recover and update the sphinx search like it was in gallery 3.x? I know it was buggy but would help us definietely.

Ok i middle moving 4.0.x beta4b forum from sub domain to normal domain but every time go to /admin redirect me back to old sub domain admin unsure why the conf_global been updated correct location and in admin cp its file storage has been moved to new location any idea why not moving correctly or is this a bug ?

Where is the option to show blogs to guests? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find it. Guests can access the module under System > Applications. I do not see any options in the member group or under the Community > Blog settings.

I've deleted the old files and folders (as discussed here) and I've uploaded the 4.0.0.b4 files, set permissions but /forums/admin/install or /forums/admin/upgrade are just coming up completely blank. Now I'm wondering if I needed to be on 3.4.7 before trying this beta. Any ideas? ....or anyone do an upgrade like that? I'm going to try upgrading to 3.4.7 first now and maybe try again but I'm still curious about an answer to this....

I've asked this before and did not receive an answer I'd still love to know if this is possible with 3.4.7 ? Question: Option in the editor "paste as plain text" in IP.Suite 4.0 is there is way to enable this for all members ? Would also like to know how I can change mass change this in 3.4.7. Members tend to paste from websites and this really makes post look ugly. Thanks!

Hi, Retina displays have existed for a few years now, but the editor icons still look pixelated... Macbook Pro and iPhone ckeditor isn that not what's being used here, that has supported retina since 2013. And these emoticons look nasty they are so damn small. Will these be updated with higher quality images ? Thanks

Ok with a clean slate - just got a brand new server and and dropped everything out of my sandbox site, copied the database from .com to .net sitecopied live directory from .com to .netrenamed that directory to something else - if i have to do it again.then uploaded the new beta4 files to a new folder "forum"copied over directories and files (config uploads public ) needed from my source to the beta site adjusted the config settings to point to the new path and databaseran the upgrade only a few errors nothing show stopping.Upgrade succeeded but can't log in to Admin get a 404 the main index has zero css or stylesany suggestions - http://www.fmforums.net/forum

This is a weird one. In the ACP I decided to search for 'permissions' and I was logged out. The number of characters typed varies before a log-out occurs. For example I've been logged out at these stages: 'per' 'perm' 'permis' it seems to occur at random characters.

I'd like to see the standard tags in tracker like fixed - pending etc... added to the my activity search results under ips4 tracker. I have a few bugs for sure reported and use this feature to see all my bugs in one spot. It would be nice to see what's in what state like fixed or not. This most likely is not handy for the general user but more for the bug reporter that does a lot of reporting Thank you

Blocks should not apply to Categories and Records in pages. You should be able to select the different levels where you want them to apply. Should have an override to change the language at the category level. In one category you may want to add a dog, another to add a cat. While at the main database you may want to add a pet.
