In the past, I bought and installed this mod http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/6247-time-frame-maximum-threads-limit/ It was correctly installed, but it seemed to have some problems so I uninstalled it. I then asked for help to the developer, so we had to reinstall it. The problem is that, after putting all the files in place, it isn't shown in the list of not installed apps, so I can't enable it. What can I do?

I'm excited to see the release of the first stable, supported version of IPS4.0 is in the near future. I've been working on an application which I'll be looking to release myself as soon as IPS4.0 is ready to ship! Currently, I see no way to filter apps in the marketplace by which versions of IPS they are compatible with. Will there be a way for people to browse IPS4.X vs IPS3.X apps in the marketplace once this thing is off the ground?

Is there a way to NOT show the "Edited by _____ xx minutes ago" that seems to always appear. I searched in the ACP and can't for the life of me figure out how to disable that, unless I've just completely missed it.

in the ip.content we can adjust this field to suit our need specially if i need time only fields or date time fields but after i installed beta6 there is no option to adjust how the field look or behave is this a bug ? or did you change it in the new release ? i really need time fields and the date-time fields and the date-only fields

years ago i migrated my from from another product so I never had the privilege of starting from scratch I had to setup the board and then use a converter to IMPORT old database to new database which if memory serves the converter is basically a logical mapping engine form one database to another that actually copies data from one location to another, and perhaps moves files from one location to another ( cleaning up along the way) However all the IPS upgrade have always been a process that updates the existing database updating or altering the schema as needed ( i think) Would it not be better for such a major upgraded for one method of upgrade / import convert? where in…

When I try to log in after the Beta 6 upgrade I get Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX0 Contact Us Its a problem alright - and I know something wen wrong but EX0 doesnt tell me terribly much. I already filed a bug report but can somebody tell me whether there is a work around? I thought I would - for the first time - see IPB 4 without any crippling errors. Any input appreciated

I am a huge fan of the legacy board stats, so i would like legacy board stats to be a option to still be included in IPB4, also i miss the trash can, i renewed for a bit on 3.4.7 then i expired again, for me to renew to upgrade to IPB4, this is something big that would convince me, to upgrade and renew again

I've noticed that in the "New Content" section, the filters are on the left side of the main content, while in the "Marketplace" (Downloads) section, the filters are on the right side. Feels like an inconsistency to me. I feel that filters belong on the left side, really, but right side is okay as well as long as it's consistent across the platform.

In IPB 3.x.x one could do an status update pretty quickly, currently there is no option from the drop down user menu for this in IPB 4.x.x. Would it be possible to bring that back in to IPB 4.x.x?

I really like the birthday block on the front page, but my site has been around for 12 years with thousands of members, most of which never visit the site any longer, yet their birthdays are listed in the block, which is very long. I would like to request that you add the function so we can set the days/months since last visited to determine what names get displayed. I would set it for anyone who has visited the site in the past 6 months, for example. Thanks for listening

Hi, Topics from a forum which the user or guest does not have permissions to see are being displayed in the recent posts block. When you click the post, it gives them a permissions error but I don't really want them to be able to see the title in the first place. Is this a bug or intended? Thanks

Can it be possible to have the board look layout be define by the user? Currently the layout is in a box grid way which to me make it harder to look at things. If a user chooses to have it the old way have it a setting define by the user like the forums style.

Here's three things I would absolutely love in IPB and I think many on my community would also use it. 1. An "Hide from new content" option on topics. Very often there's topics I would prefer not to see in the New Content because they are of less importance to me and I'd rather just read them later by going through the forum index than seeing them on New Content many times a day. 2. A "Mark Priority" option on forums and topics which would make them appear at the top of the New Content page and be identifed as priority with some icon. 3. A "Invite people" feature on topics. This would allow the "Invited" people to participate in a discussion when it's in a forum they do…

I don't get it. Why have the Forum Name in the Topic View Title. For example, the title of this page will be "Forum Name in Topic View Title? - IP.Board - Invision Power Services". For every topic in this forum, the title tag will have "IP.Board" in it. This could be seen as Keyword stuffing, and not least create duplicate title tag errors? I don't understand why this was added in 3.3 when one of the blog posts specifically stated that you were removing duplicate content such as duplicate title tags? Not a rant, simply curious. I don't personally care all that much about SEO, but I can see problems arising from a Google perspective..
