When you upload a picture to the Gallery, it uploads five different files: original, large, medium, small and thumbnail. Isn't it just a waste of resources? Shouldn't original and thumb be enough?

I know there's been 1 or 2 posts regarding this issue beforehand but I'd like to bring it up again to see if others are wanting this feature as well. It seems that any block added to a sidebar in Pages shows across all pages/views within a database. For example, I am trying to get a local business directory started...so when I'm on the "category" view and I add a block to the sidebar, that same block shows in the display view and the record view.As well, if I add a block to a category page..let's say "Accountants," the same block shows up if I'm under the "Real Estate" category page. I'd like to be able to sell ad space to businesses in specific categories or just simply …

It would be awesome if there was a way when you created a field group that you can choose whether it makes a "tab" or is displayed in the profile sidebar. Just a switch that says "tab y/n" and then if it's yes, instead of being listed in the side it is it's own tab and displays there instead. Just a hope upon hope. (now needs to figure out how to do this herself in the interim).

Dear Support, I want to say thank you for your great help. I converted from vBulleting to Invision and had a few issues (which is pretty normal with a larger board). Anything was solved just great and quickly by the Support department. Esp. Stuart Silvester was a big help. Thank you all guys

Required setting of the Gallery, allowing you to save the original image with the specified size (in px and MB) (example, compress up to 2000px in width and/or height, and not more than 5MB). Explain why it is needed. Pages Select Box, Radio, Checkbox fields. Why are the Key and Value fields individual boxes. Before is was window, good for pasting a list of countries or states in. Now you have to add each country and state's key and value one by one. It can take weeks to fill one field when it could take one second pasting from a list from a resource site.

For topic view we can set the number of posts per page. That is there under community-forums-settings. I don't see a place to set the number of topics per page in forum view though. Is it just locked in at 25 or something?

4.0 has a lot of very nice features, and a drawback. I like the seamless transition between the full, tablet and phone theme's, however I optimize my Logo for computers, and when viewing on a phone causes unnecessary blank space on the right side. Having an option for a mobile logo, and tablet logo would allow me to customize the look for non-full site access!

Hi I don't understand why in the client area it shows the current prices and renewal prices for items that I don't have but it doesn't show the renewal prices for the items that I do have. Also if I purchase an items why do I have to keep paying to renew it? Am I renting the software or did I buy it? And renewal fees are in some cases half the price of the product if not one third, by the time one pays all the renewal fees one could have bought the entire product as if it were new. With some images not displaying thumbnails, but the pictures on a gross basis are normally displayed. This happens only in the application files and images only contain in its title parentheses. Machine translation.

RIght now, we enable that setting globally for the page, and thus for the database that we embed in it. My issue is that while I want the sidebar to show in the main page, which lists the latest records, I don't want it to be shown when I'm viewing a record. So maybe you could add a setting in the database categories to override the sidebar display setting when viewing a record of the category.

Several times this week I've had to restart MySQL on my server because the user for IPS 4 maxes-out on connections. I did not have this problem with IPS 3, and it has only been happening since 4.0.2. Is anyone else having this issue? EDIT: Also, is there a recommended value for this setting in MySQL?

talking about ip downloads. If u have 1 hdd full and have a 2nd hdd that is empty: having a second storage option would be a good idea. If you allow webmaster to add "default storage" then any files users who uploads after that will have the files uploaded there on 2nd hdd. while you leave the old files on 1st hdd. so let users download from 1st and 2nd hdd depending on the file u download from

A lot of people have video galleries, and don't want people to upload videos for bandwidth reasons. Please allow video links (that embed, just like in topics) as well as uploads, with on/off control for both, thanks!

Is it possible to allow forum icons to be specified by a single upload / choose existing image? For example, if you have a forum that has 40/50/60 sections and all have the same image, then that is 39/49/59 additional requests for the same image. Although extremely small in the grand scheme of things, it would reduce the amount of requests from different URL's for the same image. It would also be beneficial to allow the use of font awesome selections here, rather than having to do theme edits.
