I would really like to see a way to activate digest emails to users that are respecting the forum permissions. I know that there are digests emails weakly if users activate them and responses to thir content. But I want to send a digest on what is new on the forum independent of whether the users are created content or not.

Can you please remove the white background from the Recent Photos Block. Not everyone uses a light colored theme. It makes my site look horrible with the white contrasting my dark site, and there is no way to edit it.

If a category is set to not allow uploads, then it should not show in the list for Select Category. This just confuses the user if they don't understand that unless it highlights, that it is not selectable. Why not just make it not show if it isn't selectable.

Hi there, In IPS3 it was possible to hide profiles from users in specefic groups, this isn't possible in IPS4. My community is quite big on this one due to privacy reasons(We like to hide the profiles from suspended users instead of deleting them to keep the logs in tact ). I also noticed that there isn't a way to hide user profiles in IPS4 without also hiding the the content on the staff page, which are in my opinion two seporate things. In IPS3 this used to be a per-group settings.

Hi. My suggestion is to include translation field to the options of the gender. The problem is: the Gender field have three options (Male, Female, Not Telling), but there isn't option to translate these options. So, my suggestion is to include translate field to the options. Thanks

If I go to Marketplace, I want to search the Marketplace for a certain mod. The only search box is the general one. This is set to All Content. This is not intuitive for when visiting other apps. Can it default to the app like in v3, or can this at least be an admin choice in settings? Thanks

(If this is a setting, I couldn't find...) I had this issue in 3.4 and it looks like it is in 4.0 as well. Records are bumped and marked new with edits in New Content. Topics, posts, and blogs aren't so why records? Can this at least be a setting if there is a reason? I have authors that edit records for grammar and spelling and they are bumped/marked unread with each little edit. Thanks!

My Calendar widget (upcoming events) is always empty because all my events are "today" events. E.g. we've uploaded a new content for users and added a record to the Calendar. Could you add a settings to existing widget to shows not only upcoming events but also some events from the past?

Would it be possible to move the pm content above the 'read full message' button in the HTML message body by default? I very literally just now realized the content is even included in the email, because it is out of sight unless you scroll waaay down.... I can't be the only one to have missed that it is present with the way it is now.

Hey, I know there is always a lot of negative and very little good when it comes to feedback but as a person struggling with whether or not my community appreciates all of the things I do for them but I also work in tech support. So I wanted to say this regardless of if this is a paid service or not. I appreciate IPS for everything it does for me, does for my community and really how considerate they are to the community at large here. Hello, There is a nice improvment in the new IP.content : the restriction set per field, by default. This is very nice, I asked for this many times, and other members too. But the loss of criterias is a terrible restriction : no alphabetic order (if your langage uses accents), no iteration order (I create a record "personnality" and a field "number of quotes" and I can't order the personnalities according to that number), etc... This is very very restrictive, and - according to my case - IP content is far less adaptable than it was. So, of course, the criterias MUST be reimplemented as soon as possible (same way for the random order). Regards

hi! i've ask in support request how to disable.header-gzip (accept encoding) cause an issir with toolbar in My hosting provider. ps: No problem with any other cms (wordpress, phpbb, drupal, joomla, vbulletin ecc - and bo problem with ipb 3.*) - issue present only with ipb4. - i've ask in support (with Mark) For try to fix, and also with My hosting... Hi, we would like if there were done some changes in the core files to make it more supportive of tools like for example the PHP optimization tool HipHop: https://github.com/facebook/hiphop-php/wiki/ As it is now it's not possible for us to use this "right out of the box" due to some of the code you use. So we would appreciate it if you could look at the possibillity to rewrite your code in order to support tools like HipHop. Especially the use of eval() is problematic, we haven't really looked too closely into whether you would have to change other functions or not. There needs to be a way to control what attachments people can upload. Allowing people to upload anything can allow people to upload viruses which could result in a liability to sites
