Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 19, 201212 yr This one is pretty amusing and I've seen it happen a lot on this site. 1) A person asks a question. 2) A person answers the question. 3) The person who asks the question says thank you and then clicks the "Mark Solved" button on their own post because..well...the question is now solved. lol
November 19, 201212 yr Change makes perfect sense, I agree. People might see it as a generic button that just marks the whole thread as solved and not realise that it means they're marking that specific post as the answer.

December 4, 201212 yr Have to say I love this. There seems to be too many negative potentials switching to 3.4 at the moment and I can't risk it. But looking forward to this one.
January 6, 201312 yr How do you turn the feature on? I noticed the settings in the forums part but is there anywhere else that needs changing?
January 6, 201312 yr I've only got one forum running 3.4, but thats a very good point. I think a language change is in order for 3.4.x
July 3, 20159 yr I tried the new "Answers" forum mode, but users of my community did not adapted to it, and they are constantly asking me, where is the "Mark Resolved" button on this new version ...I understand that a new product has new features, but it is expected to maintain backward compatibility with the characteristics of the previous version. Please consider, reintroduce back the "Mark Resolved" button on version 4
