Hi, Currently, there is a cool option to cache all pages to visitors. This has a drawback that view count isn't updated for users reading the cached page. I suggest an option to cache only the index page to visitors (both the index using Pages and the index using Forums), this way the counters will still be updated for our articles (using Pages), which is very important to us, while we can cache the index page of our website to visitors for several minutes without any issue. I just upgraded this morning to 4.1.14.1 and the forum presentation changed. I no longer can display the image blocks that were on the page prior to the upgrade. Also, when I try to use the manage blocks on the left it does nothing, so I cannot get the images back. Another issue is I also cannot use my USER pull-down at top right from the main forum page. I cannot go to the admin CP therefore unless I move to the gallery tab. On main forum page Manage block doesn't work, User pull down doesn't work navigation bar pull downs don't work When trying to use these buttons the browser changes to "http://www.goancestry.com/forum…

I currently have the 2FA info in the notes section but 90% of the time, it gets missed by support and I usually wake up to an email asking me to turn 2FA off on my live site. Maybe have a field under the support account password for 2FA responses or have a way to exclude a member of a group from the enforced 2FA on the site. I enable via group membership, not individual members so turning 2FA isn't my preferred option every time I need to contact support.

It would be great to have a requests/ideas forum. Much like the Q&A where users can vote up or down an idea that is submitted. This would allow admins to focus on what the community wants the most.

I just upgraded to I prefer that much more (i.e. the old like button, and it's much more satisfying to see the n number of likes along with the names), and the big X next to the heart image doesn't look nice.

Hi, I think the layout for the announcements is weird, at least at our install (using the default, unmodified theme). As you can see in the screenshot below, we have the following issues: 1. Inside the announcement, the platform keeps displaying a link to the same announcement at the top of the page. 2. There is no space between the box containing the list of announcements available and the box containing the announcement title and author. 3. The contents of the box containing the announcement title and author are misaligned to the left. See my screenshot below.

After upgrading to 4.2 my group promotion settings that I had for years have disappeared. Has anyone had the same issue? Adding them back is easy, but the problem is, I don't know when exactly they were removed and I don't know what and how many members haven't been promoted. IPS should really warn about stuff like that.

I am asking for future release to permise developers to have option to edit item without any category (0) because a default system not avoid to delete all category... if admin delete all category and try to edit items it will get 2S136/E error I don't know if there is some reason that IPS developers must fix before integrate this, but it could be useful for members that would use tags instead categories, behaviour for restricted content could be related only for admin moderator but members and guest could have same permissions. @bfarber @Lindy @Mark @Matt some guide talk about: "In most cases" into the \IPS\Content\Item::canEdit we have /* …

The color form the Main Nav bar in Designs can be changed, but no matter what color you choose, it will not be saved respectively displayed. I think it is a bug ? @Charles

I feel like I may have seen this before...forgive me in advance but status updates sort of bug me. I am not sure if it is a setting I am just unaware of what but 1. I hate that we have the status update but we're unable to fully see the complete text unless we go to the person's profile 2. YouTube videos don't show a video in the status post or half the time the link is just plain text Is there a way to fix this? Possibly a mod?

A few members have requested that something is added to manage posts that are multiquoted, for example if they get to page 5 and find that something they quoted on page 2 has been addressed already, so they no longer need it quoted. Currently, the options are to go back through the topic to search for the post, which can waste a lot of time, and to remove it once they insert it into the editor, which doesn't work or is very buggy on mobile browsers (at least on Android), so adding a dialog linked from the multipost info float would save a reasonable amount of time.

I would like to make a suggestion regarding the reaction notifications, back in the old days a like was a like, now with numerous options for your post to be reacted to I'm finding myself having checking my posts back to see what reaction I got. My suggestion would be to include the title of the reaction in the notification.

Can the IPS team stop disabling the use of sidebars by default please? There are plenty of area's where I would like to place Widgets, but but I cannot unless I remove this by editing the code or by the use a hook. You are taking away my choice for no reason at all. I also hate the fact that this ipsLayout_minimal plays havoc with my container (page) width. Yes I know I can edit this with CSS, but it is just one more thing to add to a long list. Thanks,

I have been hoping for the last two years to get the Random selector back into the gallery blocks. In 4.2 it is there, it selects a random set of images the first time, but when I refresh the page or reload the browser in Chrome it is always those very same 5 images. Does anyone have this working to actually display RANDOM images from various gallery albums upon a refresh?

Hi, So I realize there's been topics on this before, but I would just like to hear an update from you on this subject and present some issues I feel has been idling in the bug tracker for what I deem too long with no visible progress. You currently have 21 pages of bug reports in the "Active Reports" area, of which 17 pages are pending. The situation of you having 15+ pages of pending bug reports have, as far as I remember, been going back to early versions of IPS 4.0. Would it be possible to allow Admins and moderators (With Permission) access to 'Members Devices and IP Addresses' information from the members profile page and/Or the Mod CP? It is a right royal PITA to have to keep going into the ACP to see this information. Also, would it be possible to list different members who use the same devices and IP Addresses as well please?

I am finding that every so often that the settings on the Editor Toolbars keep resetting to the defaults, and I have to redo all my changes. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue with this area of IPS? I also find this happens when installing an out of date CKEditor Button from the CKEditor website.

As title states topic and post feed widgets do not show items from clubs. Since there are users used to following these widgets they find it hard to realise a topic is posted or updated within clubs. Is there any solution for this ?
