Just a suggestion to allow for custom content within clubs. Anything we add in the "custom settings" goes onto a single page, and doesn't look very good other than for basic info. For me, this is something that would add to the clubs app. If we are asking our users to create clubs on things they like, surely we should be providing them a platform to be able to give us more information about their club too, not just basic stuff that looks out of place on the Activity page. It doesn't have to be anything special, it could just be a custom tab that uses the regular editor. I for example run a football forum, I would love to be able to set up a club page for ea…

Hi Invision Version 4.2.4 is slated as a maintenance release however it seems Invision continue to maintain the policy of keeping their customers in the dark with the changes. According to the theme comparison tool there are a number of under the hood theme change and have yet to install the release on my pre-production server to discover what these and any other changes in the release are. It would also be really useful to know what is in each release, rather than having to trawl through blog posts to uncover new features and changes. Currently community users can share an entire topic. But most of the times users want to share a specific answer or comment in the topic. Considering sharing in that way, can also simplify the way an image could be automatically choosen for a Facebook/twitter/Google/... display instead of the community logo... (by picking it from the post being shared if there is at least one)

I would like to track views in Google Analytics on a per-forum and/or per-category basis. For example, with a setup like this: Flintstones (category) Fred Barney Wilma Jetsons (category) George Jane Judy I would like to track activity separately at least for Flintstones and Jetsons -- as well as for Fred, Barney, etc. It isn't working in GA because of how topics are named. I would like a mechanism for calendar events to remind member groups f.e. 3 days before an event starts. Author creates a new event Permitted members (f.e. moderators or administrators) are allowed to set a "group-reminder" All group members will be notified about an upcoming event, as described above f.e. 3 days before the event begins. Would be cool if the promote feature on IPS 4.2 would automatically grab an image from the first post of the topic and use that when posting. If the user wants, they can change, modify or remove the photo.

Hello The gallery comes with some capabilities for permissions and file storage. Currently Images usually are stored within the webroot of the forum or outside of it. In both cases members without proper permissions cannot navigate to images they are not supposed to see (Having the images within or outside the webroot of the board has some performance implications - but for better security I'm willing to take that penalty) Yet if you share a direct link to the image file it can be seen by anyone that receives this link - even if not a member of the community. I'd like to request a way to be 100% safe the permissions for the files in the gallery are enforced…

Sorry to sound like a broken record on this, but even with the all the new features and enhancements to 4.2, I still feel that Gallery still needs some improvement. Album and Category Cover Images I am struggling with this now. Currently there is no way to assign an image to a category if said category contains only other categories. Somehow I have images assigned to the top level category that I can't seem to find a way to change. I think the current way of assigning an image to a category or album should be as simple as uploading an image from your desktop or URL. Perhaps the solution is to have NO images in categories and only albums can contain images. …

Back when I upgraded from IPB 2.x to IPS 3.x, I don't recall the upgrade setting my default settings for forum staff so that they had to be re-enabled. Something I discovered when I was searching for a way to discover how to enable Clubs so that Admin and Moderators could be added. Suffice it to say, I discovered that every single privilege that I had originally set for my forum staff were all set to disabled and I spent an hour re-applying the moderators privileges for those who are forum staff. I'm wondering if anyone had a similar problem in regard to this? Honestly, I don't know when the settings were reset and I'm just assuming it happened with the upgrade to 4.x. Ke…

We're looking for a different approach to group exclusions please. To keep a unified experience for our readers, we'd like our Admins and Moderators to show the reactions on their post, and even for those reactions to count towards their reputation. HOWEVER We don't want Admins/Mods showing up on the leaderboard, the leaderboard is meant to be a driver for light competition amongst members that submit content. By default admins and mods post the most, we don't want them occupying 4 of 4 available slots. Please add the option of excluding GROUPS from DISPLAYING on the LEADERBOARD, not from receiving reputation. Thanks …

I would like an option in the product commerce creation page which would allow me to enter a link to where the user will be redirected to after purchasing the product. This will make things much easier for me. On my setup I'd like a customer to chose a recurring subscription plan, pay for it (have it upgrade their account to the new usergroup) then be redirected to the create classified listing page where they can post a classified. Hallo I'm trying to cleanup the moderator permissions after the 4.0.x upgrade. I'd like to do some suggestions (in my personal preference order ): use a autocomplete with multi-select list for the assigned forums (gallery categories, etc) (something similar like this or this - or anything similar that combines auto-complete with multiple selection) for the longer lists with "on" / "off" settings have a link to turn all on or all of a preview of the permissions (I have the Forum-Moderators group in the moderators, if a add a user that is part of this group as moderator I'm not sure if permissions are OR-ed or AND-ed or just one wins).
