We can add official plugins for CKEditor from the repository. And we can create our own plugins. The issue is that HTMLPurifier does not allow to use some HTML attributes whether we add a custom button or not. It would be helpful to have additional configure option for CKEditor: Allow additional attributes like name, class, id and so on. This can be an additional setting field in ACP like Allowed CSS Classes, where Administrator enter HTML attributes he wants to allow. The current Saved Actions cannot be reordered by alphanumeric, date, etc. Nor can they be graphically moved similar to how forums can be moved by drag-n-drop I would like to suggest the ability to move the Saved Actions similar to how forums can be, and/or other methods of sorting. As they are now, once created they stay in that order which is not always optimal or a desired outcome

It would be nice to be able to mark a thread that you are currently reading as "Unread" in order to have it appear in your "Unread Content" stream later. Sometimes I read a post in a thread but I do not have time to respond and want to come back to it later in the day or week. On large and active forums with many posts it is sometimes hard to find a post that you wanted to come back to because there has been so much content that has filled up the forum. Another way is to possible have a personal folder called "Favorites" in each person's profile that they can save their favorite threads so they can refer to them later. The way the software handles PDF's is not great and could do with some improvements. One or two PDF's on a post looks ok but some of us have sites that want to display lists of documents on pages. 1. PDF's when clicked on should open in the browser and not download (yuk), or add the option to do both. 2. If you have a page (pages) and want to list many Docs or PDF's it looks horrible in the current format. There doesn't appear a way to fix that unless I do what I did before, upload by ftp then link to them but that's no use for non administrators. Any chance you can look at this for some improvements going forward or am I missing something?

Hi, so many time I try to use Questions forum to create a question, but I think the description field is unuseless... I have a question, I place my question in the title, then I don't know what I have to say in the description field.... 🐼 As question is question, is possible give us option to disable the description field? If possible use text area field instead text field for title? 🤔 Then we don't call it as title, we can call it directly Question. User just write the question there and post it.

This feature should be apply for Clubs too, made it as a public messages area (or configureble by club leader), it let users leave messages or chatting, without have to worry creating TITLES to say something. I think this feature cover certain need of live chat sensation, just starting conversations without barriers in clubs levels. What I come in mind right now is made it as one of club feature, club owner can place it as first feature, when open the club we can see club header and immediately users can joining in it leaving messages. Since clubs already applied the tab system, why not apply it for Widgets too? so many times we use widgets to enlist differents type of contents or differents criterias, with Tab system will help to have a GOOD USE OF SPACE TO SEE CONTENTS.

The current Reputation and Reaction feature could use some enhancements. Currently it's either ON or OFF. It does allow Groups to be excluded which is good. We would like to see the following additional features added at some point soon in the future Reputations - Filter by Forums, On/Off per forum Reputations - Exclude by Member, On/Off Reactions - Customizable count for maximum reactions in a set period of time on per User level

There is currently no way to put a member (or group of members) product purchase (that renews) on pause. Even with the REST API, I'm unable to do this. I sell access to software that sometimes has downtime or issues and I want to mass compensate my users for the downtime by adding to their expiration date. There's no way to pause or manually update this without going into every single user who has purchased the product and doing it one by one which is going to be pretty rough.

It is currently not possible to give your customers the option to manually pay an invoice early or wait for the automatic renewal to kick in once the product expires. If you set the option "Customer can renew" for something like 7 days. If they have a card saved it will automatically bill them immediately once the invoice is generated. (so 7 days before the product expires) It's not a good experience for the customer to be automatically billed a week before their renewal (if they have auto renew on). Yet, I still want to give the option for members who don't have their card saved to pay the invoice early so that their product doesn't run the risk of expiring. …

I noticed a member who had turned on two factor authentication and provided security answers. I don't believe it's security best practices to show these values to anyone looking at the member's account in plaintext, without some sort of action being taken that is logged. For example, a button to view the values that then logs the account who requested to view the values, or even better, only validate that the entered answer matched what the user specified without displaying the values at all. Right now, the answers are available to anyone with permission to view without taking any action to see the answers. Please change this behavior to require a click on something …

Hi, i was suprised as it is now possible to get a thumb image from an entry from the blog. The DB contains the ENTRY_COVER_PHOTO field but it is for the full image. If i want to create a block for the blog entries, my only option is to set as the src of the <img> tag the full image: {file="$entry->cover_photo" extension="blog_Entries"}" This, obviously is not effective for, let's say, front page blocks, because i get the full images to fit in small divs (100px or so). Efficiency achievements could be achieved by generating thumbs for the images, as you already do in Pages app. In the meanwhile, if there is a workaround to get the thumbs, please l…

I don't say this much about this software, but the new ACP onboarding wizard is great. It has almost everything you need to bootstrap the community. However, it is missing settings to configure the ingoing and outgoing email addresses, and (less critically) the SMTP/etc settings, which means that emails default to being sent from the admin user's address (and therefore often don't get delivered).

Why is "Logging into the front-end from a new device" so far away from "Logging into the front-end from a known device"? They should really be next to each other IMO (also, changing email/password/2fa settings would also make sense to be together). This is on a fresh 4.5.3.1 install.

The way the Referral Banners is set up now, it is meant for people with websites, ones that can take the banner image code and embed it on their own site. Is it possible to be able to add banner images so the average member of our forum can save an image of their choice, copy their unique referral link, then share that on social media? This would be much more helpful for the average member, since they may not have their own website. I have the members emails address set up as hidden, but I discovered through the donation payment process the member's email is showed publicly. The element need to be mentioned is @member name and not the member's email address. @Lindy it is a little privacy issue, is possible get it covered as soon as possible?

My site staff are constantly getting moaned at for doing their job. Why did you hide my post? Where has my comment gone? Why have you created a new topic? It seems ludicrous that there's no way of notifying the members why something has been done without sending PM's everywhere. We're now trying to combat the lack of notifications by utilising the warning system but desperately need some way of notifying the user that a post has been split to a new topic at xyz, or a post has been hidden because it breaches guidelines, ideally without using PM's.

Hello everyone, my first post, or feature request to the community! Requesting consideration of the following: Limit File Extensions Type Uploads by User Group Reasons Viruses can be packed in .exe, .zip, heck even word docs! How about limiting file types by group (adding that functionality to the group page) This way, only trusted groups could upload, for example a nice big .zip file. Because they're a trusted user that you've elevated to that group, their limitations would allow them to do that. It's currently not possible auto-embed a YouTube live channel into a post. The editor returns the error: Could not embed because there is no video at this location. Embedding the current live stream is possible, but the url changes after each stream. Making all possible embedding of a live stream impermanent. This can amount to quite the pain depending on how often the live stream is used.
