I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but I just lost all posting abilities on this forum. Couldn't PM, couldn't post replies, couldn't quote anyone. Submitted a ticket in the client centre but then it suddenly came back for no reason so closed the ticket. Anyone had this issue before or is it just a momentary problem?

Is this another feature that was stripped from IPB4? For what reason has it been removed? Looks like you can no longer hide threads. Hiding threads was a very common function that we relied on in 3.4.X when submissions (offers) were posted that did not meet the criteria to be made public when they were in the queue. Now it appears we can only delete them if we do not wish to approve them. I prefer to have them hidden for archiving and reference reasons.

Post feed on the homepage sidebar, this is what I see..... What's with that? Is now displaying properly. No idea why. I have a user reporting issues with IE11 though, which is why I even contemplated using it to check out my forum. Am asking him to provide further information.

Hope someone can explain why this happens. If I copy the globalTemplate (Themes >> edit html/css >> templates >> globalTemplate) into new page of IP.Pages (not using Suite wrapper) why can I not use the block manager on left when viewing Page in browser The block manager 'slides out' but am unable to move any blocks into the areas, am assuming there must be something else required to enable blocks to move ? Reason am not using the suite wrapper option is because want to remove some of the items that show in the globalTemplate Hope the above makes sense ?

I put a 'post feed' on the sidebar, to effectively replace my old 'latest posts' plugin from 3.4.6 The problem is that it doesn't seem to be updating very quickly at all, in fact somebody just posted something and it took literally 5 minutes to update with that post. I'm a bit cheesed off as I sought assurances that 4.0 has the functionality to have a 'latest posts' thing on the sidebar. Is there a way to make this faster, like update every 30 seconds or something?

The underlying storage area on the (Linux) server is /public_html/testarea123/ which serves www.canalworld.net/testarea123/ The permissions on the testarea123 folder are 0755. Is "Followed Content" widget no longer available or am I just missing it? It's easily the most requested feature from my users since the upgrade to 4.0. Having content you're following that has new posts show up in the top right was the best way for people to keep on top of content they're most interested in.

Not sure what is going on here ... I'm currently developing my IPB community (4.0.10.2) and have the community set for off-line (i.e. only admin can access with password). That being said, I just looked at the "online users" page and see four other "guests" and feel a little weirded out as there shouldn't be anyone else on the website with current settings. They are not in a specific page (i.e. my user name indicates that I'm "Viewing Online Users List") and the IP address for all current 4 guests start of with the same 7 numbers (i.e. xxx.xx.xx.___) Can anyone provide insights as to what might be going on and or what to do with this? Hey Guys, I am in need to have notifications to my users of several actions. Following this guide: https://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides/_/advanced-and-developers/application/notifications-r190 I now see that it is 2 years old, and doesn't even work!! There is no such path: /sources/classes/member/notifications.php anymore... Does someone one has a working notification code? How is it possible that InvisionPower, sell the forum with an undocumented (or very very old) source of information?? Thanks
