We'd been trying to find worthwhile chat software since Flashchat went away years ago. This is it!
I agree with @Larry Kachadorian, it does exactly what I wanted. Great work; more than worth the asking price.
  1. I have the same issue, and the activity stream has been dead since update as well. I've submitted a ticket; hope it gets taken care of quickly!
  2. I have a trouble ticket open on this subject now, though I've asked support to hold on it until I could run a few experiments. This issue was resolved in 4.0.13.1, but apparently returned somewhere along the line in the 4.1 series. After close inspection however, I'm not absolutely certain that it's the exact issue that was present in 4.0.x < 13.1. The lightbox function seems to have something to do with screen resolution. On desktop computers with resolution 1920x1080 and lower, only images posted since the upgrade show in a lightbox. Any images which displayed correctly in a lightbox in 3.4.8 open in a new tab. On mobile devices with higher resolution screens -- I've tried Ipad air 2, Samsung G Tab S 8.4, Nexus 6, Surface Pro 3 -- the lightbox seems to work correctly on images in landscape orientation, but when an image is in portrait mode, and it's height is > 720 pixels, the whole mechanism seems to break down. After attempting to view a portrait image that fails, all "legacy" images fail; even those that opened in a lightbox just moments before. It's a weird one for sure, and I haven't finished collecting data on it yet. I'll post back when I'm able to tell IPS support exactly what's going on.
  3. But not fixed. In 4.0.12.1, any images present in 3.4.8 (all of which opened in a lightbox) now open in a separate tab. At least we aren't downloading anymore, but this is a nasty little glitch. Note that any attachments posted after the upgrade to 4.x show up in a lightbox.
  4. It's pretty likely that what you are seeing are failed login attempts while the board is closed. Until the user authenticates successfully, the "online users" page will report them as "Guest". Vbulletin 4 has the identical behavior ... and disturbed me identically until I figured out what was going on.
  5. I have this problem as well. I converted from Vbulletin 4 to IPB 3.4.8, and after running all the rebuild processes, all attachments opened in a lightbox. Once I upgraded to 4.0.x, I got download instead of lightbox on any existing attachments, New attachments showed properly in a lightbox, This is the one remaining issue preventing me from turning off VB altogether and moving to IPB 4. Edit: looks like the issue has been fixed and is scheduled for inclusion in 4.0.11.
