how can i execute a php file. trying to add this to the global header section: <?php include('file.php'); ?> the poor documentation says something about using {{ }} but can't get it to work. Things worked fine pre 4.X thanks in advance. i've been quite frustrated with this issue enough to look into an alternative forum software

i get this error when i upload a file and disconnect from wifi. i thought this suite support upload resume. considering i have alot of contributors from souteast asia they tend to have issue with my server dropping upload at 95% There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200 OK

I like to show more than 5 popular contributors on the side bar widget in topic view. I toggle the option from front end widget control to make it 10 or 20. It's only increasing this numbers for week, but not for month, year and all time which remains fixed at 5. If I move this widget on main body above the topic it's showing up to 15 (not 20), but not in the sidebar. Anyway possible to fix that?

How to move massively messages from a forum to another forum??? Before 4.1 version, I could move several messages from forum to forum, but now I can't, there is no option to select multiple messages and move them to another place... Any idea how to do it, please???

Hi! With wordpress i can use: // Prevent Direct Access if (defined('DB_NAME')) { echo '... my code'; } i don't have found something similar with ipb, and if i use insert in template i don't know how i can prevent code output if is called via url (no inside ipb). i've try to put in $var instead of echo, but i don't know how i can "echo" this var with insert in wy template. - so, i need to kill code if isn't in ipb, or something like this: myfile.php $var = "myoutput"; in template: {insert="/myfile.php" echo $var;} - ... how i can this? thanks in advance, S.N.

I am creating a newsletter that will query the database for the last 10 posts. I want to make it look similar to the Activity Stream. I can get Member x replied to Member Y's topic in ____________. When I look in the forums_forums table, all I see if the name_seo. Is the raw name stored somewhere else? Thanks

I have my forum installed at the address: http://www.mydomain.com/forum/ Now I need to make an identical copy, with all my existing settings and code changes to: http://www.mydomain.com/forum-test/ And then I need to change the license key to TESTINSTALL. How would I do this in cPanel? Can I just copy the database & all the files in the /forum/ folder? I assume there would have to be changes made inside the files themselves or the database. Can you help identify the stuff that would have to change like database username, database password, database paths, etc? Thanks!

Hi, Many users are complaining that the editor, especially the one for private messages, are showing up collapsed, so they can't write any messages. I've seen this happening with me as well, but after cleaning temp files, etc., it seems it is working. I would assume that this is an issue with the user's computer, but since there are too many users complaining, I guess it must be something else. We use CloudFlare, and maybe we need to add a rule for not caching that specific script? Thank you in advance. Gabriel.

Hi guys, Migrated to 4.1.5.2 from 3.4.8 and very impressed with the new 4.1.x series. I was able to solve all post-migration issues we were having, except for one. When trying to checkout at our store, we are redirected to a random topic from our forums. I can't figure out why. If you guys could take a look and see it in action and maybe give me some pointers I'd highly appreciate it. We are running nginx, so IPS support department said they can't help us. In 3.4 you could set everyone's skin to defailt, I don't see that as an option in 4.0? I have a Christmas theme which I would like everyone to see but it'll only work if they never changed their theme before.

I'm putting together a membership system and normal member and Semi new Groups won't have the permissions for changing their profile names without upgrade. In ACP there aren't a disabled or enable button, just a option of X days since joining or X posts that they need to make. What I did, is I set it up for 9999999 days since joined. that's around 3 years (I think) aren't there another way going about this?

I'm struggling with settings to control the size of certain uploaded images. I've found System > Settings > Posting, and set to max 1200px, which appears to work for images added to forum and blog posts. I've found Community > Gallery > Settings, and set to max 1200px, which appears to work for gallery uploads. Is there a similar setting somewhere for user profile pictures? And for blog cover pictures? Thanks

Hi. Not sure if this is the correct place to post this... Purchased the raffle application and have the directions from the vendor and the access to FTP. The issue is where does it go. The vendor file has one folder called 'UPLOAD' which contains three other folders so when transferring the folder via FTP where do you place it since the structure of the folder must stay in tact. Attached screen shot shows the details. Sorry I am lost on this one and I can code too. Maybe I am not as good as I thought. lol Any help would be very much appreciated. Marty

Hello, some hours I go I try to upgrade the web, as I see an error in step 1 I decided to cancel and I uploaded the old files... but I see in all the website (front) error 500 as you can see. As I don´t find the solution I decided to restore my backup and it´s the same error!! Please, I have the website off a lot of hours and I don´t know that happens. Attached image of System Log
