Ver: 4.1.6.1 So two things here.. First of all is this error in googles page inspection when entering in an emote manually while sending PMs or in forums, as in typing it out and not clicking the emote button: GET http://www.nwraid.net/messenger/307/undefined 404 (Not Found) This is actually happening everywhere. Forums, PMs, Chat I don't even SEE a messenger folder in my directories?? Anyone have a suggestion here? As I sit here rolling back to the last 4.0 version of the board, I wonder why there isn't a pinned post on update issues? Faster to reset than scroll through the endless issues with IPB and updates. In our case, the site updated per the process specified, was able to be accessed but showed defects in theme in certain browsers. Basically the header was obscured by the title/search bar in FIrefox ver 43. I was able to post an announcement.... Went into Admin area to check the options on our header and enabling the advanced editing mode trashed the site out. So now we load a morning backup and start over again. Joke is on us.

I want to rewrite a url: domain.com/blog/?show=categories So I add this in admin cp: domain.com/index.php?app=cms&module=pages&controller=page&path=blog&show=categories Point to: domain.com/blog/categories/ But nothing happens, the path is right, i copied it from the front end with friendly urls disabled.

Ever since i upgraded to 4.1.6.1 i get these errors Fatal error: Class 'IPS\Xml\Rss' not found in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/forums/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/forums.php on line 331 I require RSS to work to can export posts titles to another part of our website. would this be a bug?

Hello, I'm very new to using IPS so apologies if this is something everyone knows how to fix! I've just signed up to the IPS Hosting version and after converting my old community to IPS support upgraded my to version 4.1.6.1. Anyway, I created a blog post and this error message popped up on the blog page - this is using the original unmodified default theme with default settings. I tried creating a new theme and making this the default and still this error message is there? I thought I'd check here if there were any suggestions before going back to support. Hello, I have a problem . I wanted to update my site to the latest version ( 4.1.6.1 ) and I 'm stuck in the update . I launched the update this morning around 10:00 and my site is down since because I can not complete the stage of the update. Hi. I've installed (CVH) Country Field 1.0.7 plug-in which is apparently not compatible with my setup or it's maybe me not knowing how to make it work. Anyway, I tried to uninstall it and then install it again but I couldn't do it. I get this error every time I try to remove it: EX1146 Something went wrong. Please try again. I even tried to repair the database but that didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks. PS. My board is latest version, It's 4.1.6 plus a ipsfocus custom theme.

Hello, There are several instances where Record Image simply isn't cutting it. For one, you cannot alter its position in the Custom Field list. For some reason, it is hard coded to the bottom. This makes it confusing for members when they see that post additional images, and then see that they have another button at the bottom asking for images. Currently, I have two image upload buttons setup. One is for Upload Primary Image, and another for Upload Additional Images. I'm running into an issue that I can't seem to figure out which setting stops this but: I have another member on my site who has partial admin rights and can post articles on the front page. My problems is that whenever he posts an article, he can't edit it or anything due to the articles becoming locked. I mean, due to my rights on the site, I can do whatever but for him, he has to wait for me to change whatever is needed so that he can edit it or I'll have to do the editing for him. What I want to know which setting do I change so that the articles would stop locking for him (or for any other admins I make)?

Hi guys, There is one particular forum in our community that the moderadors want to have a database of canned replies, only accessible to them, so when users post there, they would simply choose a reply from a drop-down menu. I think this could be achieved through the multi-moderation feature; however, they need to have the ability to add/delete/edit these canned replies, and AFAIK, multi-moderation configuration is only accessible through the ACP. Any ideas of how we could accomplish that? Of course, ultimely we can hire a developer to create an app or plugin for that, but I want to check if there isn't a solution available already. Yesterday, we upgraded our forum software to v4.1.6.1, and now users can no longer start new topics. When they do, they get an error that looks like this: So clearly, the application is running out of memory, but why on that file? And how can we fix it short of increasing our memory allotment (which will almost certainly cost more money)? All other operations and functions (e.g., posting replies on existing topics) seem to be working just fine.

When installing a plugin like Who Was Online, I see reference to using the Block Manager to enable it.. but I cannot seem to find that block manager for the forums. Similarly there are a few other plugins that I have downloaded, and installed, but it seems like there is an additional area I need to go to to force them to display, etc., but I can't find any documentation on where exactly to go. Are there any additional hints that can be offered with respect to configuring some of the generic plugins (primary things like city/state, visitor count lists, newest members, etc) to display properly after the plugin has been installed?

I've tried uploading several different logos w/ different sizes and file extensions (PNG, JPG). Result is the same, logo becomes blurred. It's not sharp like the raster file. What should I do? Thanks.

I'm creating an application which displays a template when my custom template tag is used. It works fine on my dev install, and I successfully tested it on a fresh local install, but on our big test site the template tag is not being recognized at all. To clarify, my template tag looks like this: {myawesomewidget='123'} When I insert the tag into a template it should output a template containing my awesome widget: -------------MY AWESOME WIDGET------------ But on our big test site it outputs the unaltered template tag: {myawesomewidget='123'} So somehow it just fails to parse it. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
