Everytime I try to search the marketplace it ALWAYS takes me to an error page saying "Please try your search again in 1 second" I have even waited 15 minutes and tried again and get the same error.

Hello, I am pretty new to hosting an IP.Board software on a server I actually own. Managing IP.B has been easy for me when it comes to Admin CP, however getting everything to properly work has been a fun challenge so far. Ok, so since it kept showing the IP address in the URL bar when I typed in the domain address, I had to edit the conf_global.php file and had to change the 'base_url' to the domain name. All went fine and well with that and it now shows the domain instead of IP in the address bar. Not his is where things got weird immediately for me. I know i can change the color of a mention with this css code: a[data-mentionid] { color: #color } But how can I do it dynamically so it shows the group color of the member? I tried looking in the templates and found "mentionRow" which I thought was the place to edit it, but apparently that's something else.

Does anyone know of a way to prevent guests and members from being able to see attachments and images? I see there are settings to prevent uploads and downloads of attachments, but they don't appear to prevent people from being able to see images that are embedded into posts once they have been uploaded as attachments.

Hi all. I've been getting a lot of reports from members on my forum that they are getting an "error 200" message when uploading photos via their phones. I've tried uploading photos via my laptop, everything is fine. I try to upload the same photos from my phone and some upload, others dont and I get the "error 200, there was a problem processing the file." message. I've attached a screenshot. we thought it was file size that may be the problem, but it appears to be just random. Some large photo file sizes upload no probs, while other smaller files fail. Some large ones fail, and small ones upload fine. They are all in jpg or jpeg format which is on our list…

Would one of you awesome mod folks consider creating one that allowed a user to control the size of the avatar displayed? Maybe a simple user setting that hid it altogether, or let then increase it or decrease it by 5, 10 or some other percent? I'd pay for this. Thanks

Hi, It looks like "Load more activity" does not work on my IPS 4.1.13.2. I've managed to find the JS-error "Cannot read property 'replace' of undefined". It occurs because of response output. It is in pure HTML instead of JSON. Do you have any ideas how can I fix it?

Hi I have the following question. On my site I want reviews on pages to show to guests but not the comments (should only show the usual you have to login). So, after upgrading my IPB... the board index when you load it, is just a blank slate. Literally nothing is loaded. HOWEVER, I can view topics, posts, comments, etc. in other parts of the forum.... its just the board index is blank and isnt loading... Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Hi In the advanced configuration part of the admincp we can make some changes for the data storage 1) What should we choose between file system / MySQL Database ? what is the difference ? 2) What cache method should we choose between the 6 listed ? is there one by default i can try or do i have to install something on the server first ? 3) For the cache guest page, i cant activate it, it asks to send a constants.php, i did it and validated, but nothing changes, it stills shows "desactivated" Tx for your help, as we would like to make the forum faster (4-5s to load a page on a powerful server at the moment)

We are using IPB4 and would like to find members that keep changing IP addresses but within the same subnet. For example they will begin posting using 12.34.56.100, get banned, and then re-register using 12.34.56.200. How can we find all members using IPs 12.34.56.*?

does anyone out there know how to replace the page title with the topic name dynamically, so the page title is always the topic name?
