The Activity Stream cannot duplicate Facebook's feed. It's entirely passive -- the content discovery is to direct you to the other IP.Apps where you generate content. It's not meant to be active -- where you can like, comment, and post directly into the stream. I know what you want, and the IPS Activity Stream will never function like that.
