Hi there, I tried to find a config of that makes me logged in the admin area more time. I'm using support module, and sometime I wrote big responses with get a lot of times to type. When I finish this and click to send, it ask me for login again and I lost all typed data. There is anyway to extend this login time over admin area? Thank you!

When I use the Post Feed block to pull featured posts from Forums, it always sets the latest reply at the top, and the Starter post at the bottom, How can I change the block so that the Starter post is always first, and the replies follow under it as in the forums?

Hi, Is there a simple way to add members to a group? Is it possible for members to request access to a group and then be approved by other members of that group? (Like Facebook groups) Or, how can I set it so a member of a group can have access to add other members to that group but not get full admin powers, or not be able to see what other groups are available. He could only access that one group. I want to have a way for users to manage and maintain their own groups without needed admin/moderator intervention other than the original set-up Thanks, Ben

I wish to enable HTML posting for admins. I have enabled the "Can I post HTML" toggle in user group settings but HTML does not not work. Do I need to enable it for each forum? Thanks.

On my old 3.x board, I could embed search results into a page to have a topic page (good for SEO). For example, this page would have 'topic1' search results on it, so you could just link people to site.com/topic1. Is there any easy was on 4.x to do the same thing? I'm desperate to make some topic pages to link to. Thanks, Christian

Is there any way that I can hide a public board, from the Forums but have it show when called from a specific Menu link? For example, if I have the following forums: Private Boards (Parent only visible to mods and admins) Private Board 1 Private Board 2 Public Boards (Parent visible to everyone) Public Board 1 Public Board 2 Public Board 3 (I want to hide this board from the forums) What I want is to hide Public Board 3, but in the ACP Menu Manager, create a new item with an external link to Public Board 3, so that if clicked it opens the Public Board 3, otherwise it is not viewable. I've noticed that each of my IP.Content news posts have a separate id at the very end of the url. Is there a way to turn it off like /index.php/ ? Currently it looks like: http://mysiteurl.com/home/news/news-title-r5266/ Is there a way to switch it to http://mysiteurl.com/home/news/news-title

Hi friends. I have installed a fresh copy of IP4 in the root directory and enabled SEO Friendly URLs. The urls look great until I go to a page from Pages. The url will have the index.php?/pagename. Is there a way to remove the index.php? from the url string? I opened a ticket up in the Q&A section as well Thanks for the help. The new software looks good, but it is taking me a bit of research to re-learn things.

I just decided to make the switch to IPB 4 and am currently in the process of setting the forum up. Whenever I try to upload either the favicon or the logo I am getting the error "There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200" Does anyone have any idea how to correct this issue as I have no idea what the problem could be.

I have a database setup where users can enter a business address in the custom field. However when I select "Show Map" a map doesn't appear, the entire address appears though. I'll be making a custom layout and have it almost all complete but I cant seem to figure out how to get that field to display a google map instead of just text for the location. Note the maps work in other application, just can't get them to work in pages.

After upgrading our forums to 4.1.14, all of our sidebar blocks have been moved out of place. Rather than on the side of the forums where they should be, they have all been moved to the bottom of the forum. Current blocks cannot be moved to the side. It's as if the normal "spot" for sidebar blocks has been relocated to the bottom. Also, some of our footer blocks are moved as well. I was expecting this to be a custom theme problem, but it persists with the IPB default theme as well. Is anyone else experience something similar? Edit: FIXED. Problem was the plugin "Who Was Online". Disabled and everything works again.

Is there a way to see all the hot/popular threads? I can't seem to see a possible way, in Advanced Search you can search by number of posts or views but I must enter a search term, which I don't want to do.
