Hi, My guests can't see the "who's online" list. I've set their permissions to "yes" so normally they should be able to see the list but still, it doesn't display. Are these settings influenced somewhere else? Thanks in advance!

As per title, Is there a way to remove followers from a forum? I thought I saw this feature somewhere, but I can't seem to find it in admin or front end. Is there a way to either remove individual members one at a time, or mass remove all members from following a particular forum, just like a reset option?

I've just set this up for the first time, it says it runs every 5 minutes but next scheduled run = not currently needed. Does this change automatically at some point? Currently posts are only archived when I click run now. Unarchive posts appears to be set up correctly as that has a time for the next run.

What I am trying to achieve is in the forum view, adding the moderators for each forum to the forum description, like this: However, what I would like, to make it tidier, is not have it highlighted or with the @ symbol? I expect a setting I am missing to automatically show moderators? I could create a "link" but that leaves an underline, any way to remove underlines from links? Thanks.

I've never looked into this before but apparently it helps speed up websites? What is the best solution for a fairly active IPS 4 forum, with around 85% of visitors being from the uk.

Hi there, So since I upgraded from 3.x to 4 I have always had this issue where members of my site will not stay logged in on the "Pages" pages but when they switch to the forums they are logged in. I am not sure why it does it, or how to fix it so any help is very much appreciated. Here is a gif of what I am talking about. So when you visit my site, you automatically are on the homepage, which my members are saying they are always logged out, but once they click "Forums" then are logged into the forums and when they go back to the homepage they are now logged in. I've been using the IPS login as verification for access to my website's content manager. IPB have changed the login stuff in v4.1.16. So now my content manager doesn't work, and my websites are stuffed. Until now, I've been passing the following function the username & pw, but what do I do now? It seems like several useful features within the editor were completely removed with IPS4. Is there any way to restore some of the previous features, such as raw BBcode editing and the ability to color your text with a custom color-code instead of the very limited selection given by default?

Is there a way to remove the spam post titles from blocks like recent threads / recent posts? They are wiped out, but they still remain in those blocks that link to nothing. Just curious if I am missing a step, or it's a little bug of some kind. Thanks JM

Hello, i am developing an application that contains a lot of very small images (~17 000, size 1-2KB each). Problem is when i am trying to build the application - it takes a lot of time (10-15 minutes). Another problem is with installation of the application - only small portion of the resources is actually installed (~2 000). Anyone else experienced this problem? Is there anything i could do to speed it up and to fix the installation problem? Thanks in advance.

Hey ^^ So I'm trying to build a page that has a single forum category in it, with some extra twiddly bits on the side, but I'm having problems with that first part. Is it possible to tell a page to display a single forum (or a category with forums in it in this case)? I'm sure there's a way somewhere, perhaps some kind of a curly braces tag that I don't know about Any help would be appreciated, thanks ^^

I have previously changed the directory name of the admin folder, I was looking to change it again but when I attempt to do it I am getting the error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, xxxxxxxx and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Does anyone have any information on how to fix this, if so I would greatly appreciate it.

I just switched hosts and while everything seems to be working fine, some images won't load. After trying to figure out why it seems like they are the ones that were cached by the image proxy feature. Even posting new images no longer work. It's like it can't pull the images no longer. I put a ticket in with IPB support but it says it can take 48 hours for a response. I am in kinda a panic since no one can basically post images right now or some threads won't show their images. Has anyone run into this or have any ideas why thus is happening and how I can get it fixed? Thanks.

Hi, I'm using REST API in order to allow users to post topics/posts to the forum from my website. The topics/posts are created successfully, they are assigned to the users, and everything works great - beside one issue: after sending the topic/post, the user does not get subscribed to the topic (even if the user's default settings is to automatically subscribe to topics they reply in). I wish that the REST API would automatically subscribe the user to the topic after posting the reply / creating a topic. If it's not possible with the REST API (which seems to be the case) then I would love to hear any ideas about a workaround. I don't mind even running a…

I am trying to design some custom code for my IPS installment, and instead of trying to use old-fashioned php queries like the code I am migrating uses, I'd like to use build in IPS classes, much like the following (Found here: https://invisionpower.com/4docs/advanced-usage/development/working-with-members-r179/) \IPS\Member::load( 1 ); I cannot find a list of these classes or solid documentation. I came from vBulletin through XenForo, and VB always had extensive documentation. Is this located anywhere for IPS?
