Hi, I'm still confused about how the Sitemap works. It seems to create one page with several child sitemaps which I grasp, and Google Search Console recognises them correctly as child sitemaps, but inside the child sitemaps for Pages there are no individual links to my website's news articles. However the Gallery by comparison has multiple sitemaps for gallery categories as well as the image themselves. I have lots of news articles and several page articles. How do I get it to include all of those articles and pages? Or doesn't it work that way? Many thanks!

It seems that my forum can't be fully secure as a lot of theme resources seem to be serving through http. I can't seem to figure out how to change it. E.g. Hey. Im trying to insert a button in my toolbar that works as a button with a link. The following html is; and works well except that is wont be able to perform as a button, only display as one. The link that is inserted is from the trader feedback system and it would be cool if the button would allow a pop-up. just signed up for the IPS Cloud solution and was setting up my board. The sales documentation claims there is a resident chat function, and that you set it up in the "community" portion of the admin site. However, there is no "chat " dialogue in my community section. good afternoon, i have recently just created a new forum and am curious if it is possible to have a tab other than the default "browse" as the "landing" page? i am in the very early stages of design of the site, but that is one of the things i would like to have changed. i guess to be more specific, how can i have the forums NOT be the page you go to when typing in our URL? thanks in advance!

I notice I'm getting a Yellow warning bar using 5.6.xx now on fresh test installation. So I guess I'm wondering when IPB is going to expire/drop 5.6.xx support and move into 7? I did see this update So I guess 5.6 will be supported in regards to security fixes for a couple of years according to above. I was going to upgrade my WAMP version however, WAMP is only up to 7.0.10 and php is now up to 7.0.15, so I figured I could wait a few more versions to let WAMP catch up a bit, but how long is the question depending on when IPB officially retires 5.6? I can switch in my current WAMP PHP set-up to 7.0.4 right now but I would rather wait till WAMP gets …

I am encountering an error in my test installation upgrade such as this: I do not think it is anything to do with the Beta version itself but my own database. I believe this is a database error? Can anyone decipher this error thrown? I moved my test installation from one server to another, this is why I think it may be due to something not configured correctly on my end. Any help is greatly appreciated. John Ok, never mind on the error, the upgrade took and completed. But, I cannot access forums, when I click on a category, the forum will not open. Hey guys, How can I hide a custom field in a record when the field isn't filled? I have created a container which shows 3 different images. Thing is the container is also shown if there arent any images uploaded. So, how do I make sure that the container isn't shown if there aren't any images that have been uploaded. I know I need to add a {{if $record section in the code, but I am a bit confused on the complete piece of code. Is there someone that can help me? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, my Hosting company says that my board is sending Spam from this Script system/Email/Outgoing/Php.php They also gave me a link to one of my pages which makes no sense to me. Any idea what could cause this and how to prevent this? Thanks

I have a user on my forums when logged in using the forums if he navigates the site back to the index using the logo in the top left or by pressing browse he gets automatically logged out. I'm able to reproduce it myself on firefox too. Has anyone else experienced this?

If a member is allowed to "Hide own content" should that also allow them to hide a whole thread they started when others have posted replies? I've just experienced that and I think it is very worrying that members could hide/delete others posts when they aren't Mod/Admin accounts.

I've noticed that if I go on to a thread that has twitter/instagram embeds with videos in them, the embed size seems to be larger than it needs to be & then it slowly decreases in size, this causes the page to keep scrolling up which is very annoying when you're trying to read a comment & it keeps moving! I seem to get it most often when trying to read threads on a mobile device (iPhone/Safari). Happens on the standard theme as well as my custom theme.

Hi guys, after few weeks of trying to fix our server crashes etc. we came to a conclusion that we simply need to change host. So, can someone please tell us what would be best host solution for IPS 4? We have around 40000 members and growing every day, but not all members are active so that number is lower in the end. Running 3.4. Want to finally upgrade to 4. My server is running ubuntu 12.04LTS. I am using default repos, so my versions of apache and php are quite dated (albeit continue to receive security updates backported under the lts program). What is the best strategy to go from 12.04LTS (php 5.3, apache 2.2) to 16.04LTS (php 7, apache 2.4)? My plan was to spin up a new VPS with a fresh ubuntu install, get it set up properly with current updates, and then copy over my web files and database and run the converter. However, I understood from a few other threads here that perhaps it wouldnt be the smartest decision to run conversion of 3.4 under php7. How did other …

Hello, I just installed v4.1.17.1, but cannot figure out how to display the sidebar in the forums. It's already enabled by default, but I don't see any settings in the ACP. Is this a known issue, or am I just overlooking an obvious setting somewhere? Thanks! Edit: Found it. Hi Guys, My IPS based site was recently hacked and they've made a nice mess for us to clean up by injecting .php files and editing existing .php files. By default, the datastore folder is empty in the IPS suite, so Im assuming all the php files in our install were generated over time by our community. Some of these appear to be injected but we're having a hard time picking out the needles from the actual hay. Can anyone tell me what these php files in datastore are for? For example there's one called administrators.2d044d0767.php or this one template_1_3db53200833e95cf9ba7ee49cd491e3c_trees.2d044d0767.php Are these normal? Is this data we should not keep?
