So, I assume IPS took that feature out when 4.x came out? I just lost a month's worth of stats I was transferring over from notepad on my phone into a post because I deleted them as I typed the contents into the editor, then somehow my browser went backwards to another page and lost all my data. This was a very useful feature for this same type of situation, where the browser screws up. Now I'll never have these stats.

I have a support ticket in about this, but thought I would seek help from the community as well. I need help understanding how e-mail notification settings work. The complaint from my members is that even though they have gone to the notifications page and changed "Method to use for content I follow automatically" to "Do not send me notifications" and unchecked e-mail from all settings in the notifications page, they are still getting e-mail digests. I checked the "Manage followed content" page for some of the users who can't seem to resolve this and noticed pages and pages of followed content, with the notifications set to a variety of daily/weekly/monthly…

Today I changed the website password from my client, and tried to log in as an Admin. The site has stopped loading completely for my IP address. Anyone that uses my wifi cannot connect to my website. However my website loads fine for everyone else. It keeps telling me that it is timed out. Can someone direct me on how to log into my site? This site can’t be reached enchantedliterature.invisionzone.com took too long to respond. Search Google for enchanted literature invisionzone ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT Apparently it is a firewall block. Does anyone know how many times you must fail the password to be locked out?

I went to move a topic today to another forums subcategory and the forums subcategory I want to move it to was "greyed out" in the list, why? IPS just upgraded my forum and I never had this problem before. Thanks for any help

Hello! I have problems adding css styles to my blocks (like portal - Home/Portal) in IPS 4.1.x. Reading the Guides, there is some talk about "custom.css" which - according to the guide - "... Instead, all of your changes should live in the custom.css file at /core/front/custom/. You can create other CSS files within the custom directory if you wish and these will also be included. CSS files in the custom directory are not modified by the IPS4 upgrader, meaning your changes will safely persist across versions. ..." Okay ... but where is /core/front/custom? It does not exist on the file system - there is ../application/core/ but no "front" beyond that one. …

With new upcoming update 4.2 I was thinking about reinstalling my community from scratch. I'm having large problems with my current community like applications not working properly, language strings missing, group permissions not saving/showing, warning points not expiring and other minor issues. I would like to do a fresh 'new' install of the suite and plugins/applications and afterwards just do SQL INSERT containing articles, forums, posts, user accounts and nexus purchases. Then probably some kind of trigger to re-index or re-cache all of the new data in the database. Does anyone know if that is possible? I'm probably going to try it on my test install with the 4.…

I can't google map to embed on my sites. I have checked my setup, and before I continue even more investigation I need to know. Does it work on your sites running 4.1.19.? Hello I can filter out sub-forums on the activity streams, so they do not appear in the results: However I cannot do this when I create a new stream in AdminCP: The only option I have is to include all topics, or none. Am I missing an option somewhere to allow this type of filtering? I'd like to create a default stream that excludes certain sub-forums. Cheers

Hello On our custom error page we insert the IPB tags (error_message) as shown in image one: However upon access a restricted page and then revisiting the code it removed the IPB tags and replaced them with text. This means that error are no longer identified properly on our pages. It instead says 'sorry you do not have permission to view this page. See image below. Surely the tags should remain so it can present different reasons/errors. I look forward to getting this resolved. Thanks Rob
