Hi Everyone, I'm struggling. I've been in the admin editor and changed ever possible color once to attempt to change the top text color. I've searched the guides and forums, but I must not know the correct search strings. I have a license but i wanted to make many changes and see how i go at creating my own themes and generally trying app's and plugins but i would like to try them out first. How is this done...? I own the domain.com, which carries the license and i also own domain.site which i wanted to use for the test forum but it says this license in already in use.. which is the best way to do this for a test install..? Hi, I am trying to setup paymentwall with their plugin provided here: https://www.paymentwall.com/en/documentation/IP-Board/1760 I setup everything according to their website, everything seems to work fine, the widget shows up on the website along with the test product etc. But when trying to submit the website for "review" I keep failing the "Test pingback" check. Hi, Just downloaded and installed the latest version, an upgrade from the old 3.4 - what a difference. I'd like to have the option to view the full version on mobile devices, but cane figure out how to do it. I have made a copy of the original theme and intend to make the necessary changes to this theme for members to be able to use full version if they prefer. How do I do that? Which files to be edited and how?

I'm trying to stop certain twitter accounts being able to be posted on my site. I've tried adding into link filtering https://twitter.com/Xuser/* http://twitter.com/Xuser/* http://mobile.twitter.com/Xuser/* https://mobile.twitter.com/Xuser/* Yet they are still embedded and posted with no issue. I've also tried adding Xuser to the word filter but still no use. Is there anyway around it?

The title is a bit unclear because there are no unnecessary scripts, that's true. But, if I view my community as a guest, Chatbox.js and Buzz.js are loaded as scripts when I don't see why they should be? Chatbox is not available for Guests and as for Buzz, I think that's only needed when the person logs in since it works with notification and the Chatbox itself. I also noticed maps.js is loaded which is confusing. What is that for? Our community doesn't even use Google Maps integration. So is there a way for me to prevent those 3 scripts from loading until they're needed?

Greetings. Today I saw a user logged in, I know he is using multiple accounts So I wanted to know more about him. I clicked on the option "see the full users list" using the admin account on the index page and the Block "who's online" and I could copy the ip. He was logged in with 1 specific IP. Then I logged in the Admin CP and used the option: Members - IP address Tools and pasted the IP in IP Address Lookup. I got 0 results and according to the block, that user had been logged in. Could someone highlight me a little more about this issue ? Thank you

This might be a really stupid question, but I'll have a go anyway; I'm in the middle of upgrading from 3.4 to the current version of IPB and was asked to run a manual query ALTER TABLE ibf_forums_posts DROP INDEX post; I'm running this query now, but it seems to take forever. How long should such a query take to finis? I understand it is depending on the size of the table, but are there any guidelines/indications you can give?

I get odd formatting problems when trying to transfer texts from MS Word (in this case Word for Mac 2011 v.14.6.9) onto our forum. On the screenshot the upper lines are from the original in Word, the lower as they appear on the forum. The bold underlined headline has acquired link status (with a null link) and sometimes on the texts underneath the link spreads across the whole line. The indents have not transferred. It makes no difference if one transfers the text by copy and paste direct from Word or by using web page preview in Word and then copying and pasting from the browser. The problem was not present under IPS3 but appeared after upgrading to IPS4 a few weeks…

Hi, when you add images attachment on a forum post, then view it on mobile and 'click' on image with your finger, what is is supposed to do ? On my install, it loads the image directly. It doesn't open a lightbox like on desktop. Is it the intended behavior?

Dear, We have a lot of tutorials created with pages. We update and renew this tutorials when a product is changed. The creation date stays the same of the edited page. Example: We create a tutorials how to change background for Windows 7. We renew this to Windows 8 and then Windows 10. But the creation date stays on 01-01-2007. When a user search on Google how to change a background it shows a page created on 2007. How can we change this? Can we modify the creation date on a easy way? Regards,

To use the new Media Promotion feature, we need to add 2 new permissions to our Facebook app. Publish_pages and manage_pages. How did you set up those permissions for facebook review process? They even ask for a screencast. Can someone that successful was approved, show the screencast used?

Hello, I have setup a paid icloud setup. I like the software a lot. At least the community part. I think it's unbeatable. The amount of feature integration is amazing. However, I have a problem with the "publishing" experience aspect of the product. I know it is mainly a community suite, but I expected more in the publishing aspect. My basic need: get a custom page with a feed from a blog or forums. I wanted in this feed to display not only posts titles, but as well as content of articles with images.
