I've searched very deep and have yet to find a solution for this. When sharing a topic on Facebook, I would like a way to set the image that is shared for that topic that is unique to the topic rather than the default sharer image set up in the ACP. Is this possible? A news article has a featured image that is used, but topics do not. I tried (NB41) Topic Cover 1.0.0 in the Marketplace hoping that would do the trick, but it didn't. Calendar events work that way, but this didn't have the same results. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello, how do I display the "Start New Topic" button for everyone? Not just logged-in users. Also, I was like to also change its text from "Start New Topic" to something like "Ask a Question", then change "Submit Topic" to "Submit Question" and change "Reply to Topic" to "Reply to Question". The default is white, Is there a way to change the colors of these secondary backgrounds? Even globally would be better. I'm going to be changing the text colors.

Ok I just got on here I'm trying to set up some forums. I don't quiet understand the way it's working. When I goto FORUM then I click to create a Forum. I guess you would call it a category?, Then it forces me to make that one a Parent. So I done that, then I click to make a new forum to go in that and I set it as Discussion, so people can post topics in it right away. Well the problem I'm having is when I go back to my main page to view the forum, I only see the last one I created. It doesn't show me the Category. I was wondering. For a certain group of users I would like them to be able to edit their posts afterwards. I know that is "Can edit own content?". I don't want them to allow for silent editing, but I do would like to allow for a certain "grace" period that they in fact can edit silently. For instance, when a user posts something and edits it within x minutes, it will edit it silently. After that x minutes, I want the edit to be not silently. Is this possible?

I just realized something as I placed a widget at the top of my forum. When I go to create a new topic, the widget that I only wanted on the home page is showing up on the new topic post page. Is there a way I can hide the widget based on the page? Thanks!

I've been following the guide on how to add a client id and secret but the admin cp comes back with I've tooth and combed the guide and the only thing I can see that I need to do is domain verification. However I can't do very much because my domain, hosted by godaddy had all of it's DNS settings managed by Invision. I tried looking through the other options and I can't see any settings on godaddy that line up with what they want.

Hi there, I have been running 4.2.6 for a day now and still am trying to learn the ins and outs. One thing that is strange is that when an Admin (which is also in the moderator group) posts to a topic, when clicking on the post button, it says Saving... for about 10 seconds and then posts the reaction. When a "normal" user does this, it is instant. Could you please point me in the right direction to look? Thank you very much in advance! Chris

I know this has been discussed in the past. And I don't think much has been done to correct it - but perhaps I can get an update please. My Users are having increasing difficulties uploading photos. They are too lazy to resize themselves and keep trying to upload all kinds of large files from all the new phones. One photo can be 8MB these days. I have checked all the obvious settings like Apache upload limits and limits in ACP. I have a powerful server. But it is difficult getting specifics from Users other than they are getting Upload Failed error messages. Questions: Are photos being compressed yet, if I have them set to be resized? Has anyone ever had problems (either themselves or with members) logging in to an Invision site, even when you know you've entered the correct password? I just had this happen with a test account. I entered the name and password (from a saved record of passwords, so I know it's correct) and got bumped to the incorrect login screen. Double-checked the password, entered it a second time, got another incorrect. The third time apparently was the charm, as the account logged in. But what gives? Has anyone else had this problem? Does it have something to do with that account logging in from a VPN (which it did)?

Hello, Is it possible to create Gift Cards in bulk? I tried to insert a gift card into the database however when I tried to redeem the key it did not work, so I am guessing there is more to this. Maybe I'm missing something. On my old board when you typed in an email address into a Topic/Reply post, it automatically became a link once posted. When clicked that email link opened the applicable email window etc. Here Ill try one... info@anyboard.com No Link. Ive tried using the Link function from tool bar but it defaults to a website every time. So, how do you create an email link? Thanks for your patience.?

In all forums I can see the social media sharing buttons: But I just created a new discussion subforum, but even while the Enable Sharing button is checked, I don't see these icons on that new forum, nor in the sharing part in the upper right corner of the post. Hey there, I'm trying to figure out how I can view the members of each of my various groups. I can use the Member search function and filter by group, but that only displays those that have that group as their main group. How can I look at people who have those groups assigned as secondary groups?
