Hi there, I have been running 4.2.6 for a day now and still am trying to learn the ins and outs. One thing that is strange is that when an Admin (which is also in the moderator group) posts to a topic, when clicking on the post button, it says Saving... for about 10 seconds and then posts the reaction. When a "normal" user does this, it is instant. Could you please point me in the right direction to look? Thank you very much in advance! Chris

I know this has been discussed in the past. And I don't think much has been done to correct it - but perhaps I can get an update please. My Users are having increasing difficulties uploading photos. They are too lazy to resize themselves and keep trying to upload all kinds of large files from all the new phones. One photo can be 8MB these days. I have checked all the obvious settings like Apache upload limits and limits in ACP. I have a powerful server. But it is difficult getting specifics from Users other than they are getting Upload Failed error messages. Questions: Are photos being compressed yet, if I have them set to be resized? Has anyone ever had problems (either themselves or with members) logging in to an Invision site, even when you know you've entered the correct password? I just had this happen with a test account. I entered the name and password (from a saved record of passwords, so I know it's correct) and got bumped to the incorrect login screen. Double-checked the password, entered it a second time, got another incorrect. The third time apparently was the charm, as the account logged in. But what gives? Has anyone else had this problem? Does it have something to do with that account logging in from a VPN (which it did)?

Hello, Is it possible to create Gift Cards in bulk? I tried to insert a gift card into the database however when I tried to redeem the key it did not work, so I am guessing there is more to this. Maybe I'm missing something. On my old board when you typed in an email address into a Topic/Reply post, it automatically became a link once posted. When clicked that email link opened the applicable email window etc. Here Ill try one... info@anyboard.com No Link. Ive tried using the Link function from tool bar but it defaults to a website every time. So, how do you create an email link? Thanks for your patience.?

Hi, 4.2.6 running here and converted from phpBB 3.1. In all forums I can see the social media sharing buttons: But I just created a new discussion subforum, but even while the Enable Sharing button is checked, I don't see these icons on that new forum, nor in the sharing part in the upper right corner of the post. What am I doing wrong? Chris

Hey there, I'm trying to figure out how I can view the members of each of my various groups. I can use the Member search function and filter by group, but that only displays those that have that group as their main group. How can I look at people who have those groups assigned as secondary groups?

I am having problems connecting to license url remoteservices.invisionpower.com The license error started a few days ago and I looked and I had my old domain name listed on license. Support here changed it for me top the correct domain. The license error stil remains and it takes FOREVER to connect to admin panel. The site seems to run okay but connection to admin is WAY SLOW. My server support had checked and said there is no problem connecting to remoteservices.invisionpower.com. The Support here doesn't want to help me, so does anyone ever have this problem or any tips on fixing this issue. thank you

Think I am screwing up here and missing something.... Creating a database driven website. (localhost) [EXAMPLE] Created a site form First Name, Last Name, Address1, Address2, State and Zip code. Then created the database "Test1" table "Profile". I then inserted name1, name2, address1, address2, state, and zip..... Where I am confused is linking the database and page to connect?

I just upgraded a community from 3.4 to 4.2. However, I did it on a subdomain upgrade.mydomain.com. Then I changed it to forums.mydomain.com (and updated the config file accordingly). However, the fonts loaded by the CSS files have a hardcoded URL towards `upgrade.mydomain.com`. So they do not load. I traced back that these links are in: upload/css_build_1/*****.css (many files) upload/css_build_2/*****.css (many files) upload/css_build_3/*****.css (many files) How do I rebuild these files? I couldn't find any possible way... I can replace them manually but it doesn't feel right - they look generated.

I have multiple calendars splitting events nationwide different events are shown on different pages, however today I noticed when i dragged a new upcoming events into a new page from the block manager I can no longer select the calendar I wish to show the events from whatever I try I cannot scroll through the calendars to choose the correct calendar, can anyone throw any light on this as its worked fine previously i recently applied the upgrade but cannot recall how long ago it was since i last dropped in this feature so cannot say if this is connected. Hey Invisionerz, I have a site that has a Downloads and every time I upload maybe anything bigger than a maybe 2 MB. My PHP.ini does say I have "post_max_size = 100M" and "upload_max_filesize = 100M". I've reported these to IPB but posting here in case anybody else gets user reports of search issues and goes looking for answers. Since upgrading to 4.2.6 searching private messages is broken - I'm seeing the same issue on the IPB forum as well so I don't think it's a specific issue with us. Also, when searching the forum, if you change the sort by to 'Relevancy' it generates an error - I think this is connected with the private message searching above and I have also replicated that on this forum. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.
