Our tiny music community license was expiring on December 18th. A few members didn’t want it to go away, so we bought a growth license and were told the ownership and forum could be transferred to me. No problem. Should just take a day or two. This was 12/7 Didnt hear anything back. Wrote a few times. On December 18th the old site shut down and said license expired. We don’t have access to all of the old content and have no way of contacting the old members to let them know what happened or when we’ll be back. I’m pretty upset. What can I do? Who can I contact to fix this?

Hello there, I remember when this feature was announced That it promised push notifications even when you were not in the site. Unfortunately I wonder if this feature is only available for Cloud customers like Zapier, or if there's any further activation for this feature, because it doesn't really work. I've made many tests and I haven't gotten any successful notification either via smartphone or in my web browser. The thing is, they don't work here either. Hi all, as I lost my awesome IT-team and haven´t found a new one yet, I am on the brink of choosing the cloud-version. I hope someone can help me with the decision: 1) Could I keep the self-hosted domain xyz.com/community? Or would it need to be community.xyz.com then? If the latter that would not be that efficient for SEO as far as I know. 2) How tricky is the migration to the cloud-version? And how tricky would it be in the case of in a few years going back to self-hosted? Thx in advance, great community! Michael

Hi, my forum is just for paying members and I want to hide all its contents from non-members (who might get the link from a member) as well as from all search engines. How can I do so? Will I need a plugin or is it possible to do so from the settings?

This is regarding records in databases in Pages. My Activity Streams > Create new stream Content items only Content types: (selected all databases, which contain articles) Read status: everything Ownership: everything Following: everything Time period: last 7 days Sorting: newest activity first To my surprise, very old articles showed up. The reason being: I recently moved these articles from one category to another. IMO, these articles shouldn't be listed. Hi guys, I just realised in the last few days that my new members having a problem with registration/validating they emails... so I tried to open an test account and I can see that the issue persist. Any ideas, help?? So basically, everything is ok, they can put they emails, etc, receiving the validation email, and after they click it, they going back to my forum and then showing them an error...."something went wrong". After checking in APC I can see them and I can manually accept them however I've got no idea why the validating email don't works??

Hello, 🙂 I've noticed a problem with members whose accounts are moderated : to bypass moderation, once their content has been approved, they simply edit their posts and add unwanted content in it... I'm going to add the members to a group which can't edit their posts... but, is there an option to fix this or is it a bug ? Thank you. 🙂

Hello, Is there a way to display the last update date for the topics in searches? I can only see the date creation in searches, not the last update. Whenever I search, I would love to see if the topic was updated not too long ago, right now, only the creation date is displayed. Is there a way to display the last update? Thanks

I just did a manual upgrade to 4.6 and no errors as I went through the process until it said it was completed successfully. Hi. I have a question. Why we can't add tags on invisioncommunity.com anymore? I don't mean prefixes that only staff has access to. Do tags have a negative impact on SEO? And the last question. Hello, I found out that Google is indexing https://www.clubedohardware.com.br/forums/startTopic/ The problem is, this URL should be available for users without the proper permission (e.g., logged in users). We have anonymous post disabled in our community. I checked and your website also has the same issue: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/startTopic (try opening it in an anonymous tab to see). I can partly solve this by adding a rule to robots.txt, however I believe this is a bug: IMO the software should thrown a permission denied error or ask the user to log in. Cheers.

With the New Year coming It’s time to clean house on my Board. I have a large amount of Registrations going back to 2016 (when I converted my Board to IPB)…that I did not Authorize (why doesn’t matter). In Admin CP/Members I can choose “validating” and get a complete listing of those. But am only allowed to delete one at a time, which takes a little time, and when done the listing reverts right back to page one of “all” Registrations. Is there any way to delete those Unvalidated/Unauthorized Registrations in bulk?
