Hi all, I'm trying to test out a forum upgrade on my development site, and I'm running into issues. The site I'm upgrading has not been upgraded for some time, so is still running 4.5.4.2 which may be the cause of some of the issues. Dev forum: qa-prod.domain.com Prod: forums.domain.com This does give a license validation error, but I assumed that this was okay, considering it's a private development site behind .htaccess authentication. forums.domain.com has a valid IPS license. I think forum is replacing text smileys with something non-existent. Can I replace those in Admin CP, with some other images? I deleted two ancient custom emoji tables I had, is it possible these were from there?

Hello I've noted we have some "duplicate" tags. One is uppercase (like "Figuren") and one is in lowercase ("figuren"). When clicking on the tag the topics shown are with the exact same spelling. But when editing even when I select the one with the Uppercase first letter it will use the lower-case tag. I'm not sure how we created this mess. Visually the ones with the Uppercase are more readable - but I can live with using all lower-case tags. But I want to "merge" the tags with different upper and lowercase letters. Is there a way to achieve that? (The UI seems a bit confused with our tags, that didn't work out. I'm ok with some database work)

HTTPS defiinitely works on my website. Friendly URL's also work currently with provided .htaccess. But because of this .htaccess file, everything something is clicked it goes back TO HTTP. Should I just preconfigure HTTP -> 301 -> HTTPS by default for everything or is there a procedure for this?

Hi, Today I noticed that there has been plan changes and I can no longer upload Custom Plugins/Apps. Unless I go onto a new plan, which will cost me 3x what I currently pay. No email was sent out to inform me of these new plan changes. In a search I read that Cloud customers will not be impacted by these changes but only new customer plan purchases. Can I please ask IPS to allow Custom Plugins/Apps for current customers, as this is devastating 😞

Hey, I recently moved host and everything is now working fine on the site. But when i try to create a new AD in the admincp and supply the google ad supply code it will cause a error and not let me continue. I tested it further and if i simply post a picture it will allow the ad to be displayed and creates the ad. However HTML code it will not allow. Now i don't have any errors on the front end and i can post files there, screenshots, forum posts etc. So i find it rather weird it does it for something simple as an ad. What could be the cause of it? I kind of assume execute or write error or that the server is forbidding HTML posting, which i think …

How come I don't have email support anymore. I had it. Moreover clicking there does absolutely nothing. Also, I lost so many days of true support over holidays I was thinking we can extend it a bit but now I am missing it completely.

Hello, I have installed my forum in a directory (forum) at the root of my wordpress site, the installation went well, the admin works fine, but ... ... The forum opens, and as soon as I click on a link, a subject, a forum, or that I try to connect, it sends me to the wordpress error page with the correct url, for example: https://ctoulon.com/forum/2-a-test-forum/ ??? I had already had this bug, some time ago, but I have a blackout, if anyone remembers ?! Maybe add something to the .htaccess file ??? Thanks

Not sure what the "non-default" theme is and how to delete it? Can you help? "Disable Customizations" does not help. Pressing orange button, renders this message and does nothing, just creates one more IPS Default theme... I want to delete ANY and ALL third party customizations. I don't need anything. Each time I pressed disable it created new IPS Default theme. The one on top is the default theme created by the upgrade. The one "BMW Club Romania" I just renamed it and changed some colors. I do not need any. Just default.

I'm trying to move the forums to php 8.0 - I'm getting a 500 error which I asked the hosting company to look into and this is their response. Any ideas? Hello Everyone, I recently upgraded my phone and lost my log in of google authenticator app. Now when I go to my admin CP, it asks me for google authenticator code, which I don't have and I have tried selecting the option, "Get verified using another method" and then "Get an email to recover access", but the email never comes. Does any one know how to fix this as I am locked out of my admin CP. Thanks.

I opened this message in the wrong place. Everything is up to date on my IPS including the theme. When I try to edit templates in my custom databases I am getting this error: It doesn't seem to affect every template, just the one I want to use to display the database record. Help!
