I had it too.

As a workaround, I downloaded the complete version and copied the files over, then /admin/upgrade.

Please try the above in the first instance, and then if you have any further issues, please let us know. (Let us know if that works too of course)

After reviewing the error log, and the update again, the auto-update was successful.
In a live site, the auto update went without a issues.

That did it.

It looks like this issue was related to the AWS outage yesterday. Since they've fixed their issues, this shouldn't come up again.

Just tried 25 minutes ago and still happened. But I was able to upload files and it's ok. 👍

Thanks, we'll keep looking into it. It does suggest that there was an issue communicating with one of our services to fetch data from.

It just happened again trying to apply the new patch.

Have you now resolved this, or have you done the upgrade? If not, we can take a look to see whats happening there

I had it too again with the new patch.

After the error, it was complaining about the modified files, but going to /admin/upgrade resolved the issue.

Yes. I downloaded IPS 4.6.9 from Client area and used admin/upgrade.

Glad to hear you got upgraded there. These will usually happen when there is a break in connection between the client and server. If you are getting  this each time of course, let us know
