After updating the community to 4.7.4 the reported content section in the moderator-cp was broken. Some items missing and a lot of them seemd to have been deleted. The admins instead could see and read everything. Solved it by deleting the moderators, adding them all again and restricting the rights afterwards. Not such a big fuss, but quite annoying. I ran into a problem while updating too, because php80-zlib was missing: This surely was my fault, but I would very much appreciate, if the installation and updating procedures would check, if all modules they need are installed, before throwing such an annoying error midst in the updatin…

Hello, Is it possible to hide the number of members a club has? I know I can hide the member names themselves. But on the club list, I can see the number of members. Can that information be hidden? I don't want members to know how many members there are. There could be only 2 or just a bunch and it would be detrimental. Thanks

Invision Community v4.7.4 Locking issue: Reproduction: Go to topic > moderation tools > select lock. When pressing 'save' nothing happens. I tried disabling all 3rd party addons/plugins/templates/langguages and clearing cache. Nothing helps, nothing in the admin panel logs. Since upgrading to Ventura MacOS 13, I can no longer log into the Admin Control Panel. Another admin can and says my profile is requiring me to reauthorize my account. I have no idea how to do this. I have cleared browser cache, rebooted and am no longer able to log in. I am getting an EXO error code. My admin is able to log in without difficulty but she is using a Windows based computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently added a new field to my articles in pages. Basically I use the record field (body) to display a teaser of the article and then I have a second field for exclusive content which is only visible to subscribers. It's working perfectly (thanks @opentype 👍) except for one small problem. The two fields seem to be formatting text in different ways. The main body is formatting normally, but the exclusive content is giving me two lines between paragraphs rather than one. The html is different in both fields. My latest new member registration was last night and this morning I received an email from user who can’t finish registration? So I tried open a “ fake” account for testing purpose and yes, I’ve got this message?? Oops! You are not permitted to register a user account with this site. Error code: 2S129/1 I have checked my logs in ACP and nothing, no record etc

To reproduce: Add a word to the banned words filter, such as "spam" Make a new topic, including "spam" in the initial post Observe that the topic got added to the approval queue as expected Observe that there is no message saying that it was queued because it contains "spam" This is because for the first post in topics the approval entry is saved based on the topic, not the post itself, but there's no logic in a topic to render that information (and hiddenBlurb only loads the post itself).

Is anyone else seeing their Activity Stream block missing today? Ours has unexpectedly disappeared. I can see it using the block manager which suggests it requires configuring - even though it was already configured and working fine beforehand. I've tried re-editing/configuring the block, and I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling the block but it still doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions? FWIW we're on the cloud platform.

You can upload one, but trying to replace a svg file errors with "Allowed file extensions are: js, css, txt, ico, gif, jpg, jpe, jpeg, png, mp4, 3gp, mov, ogg, ogv, mp3, mpg, mpeg, ico, flv, webm, wmv, avi, m4v, webp, m4a, wav, pdf"

There is a bug in the latest 4.7.3.X version. I haven’t been able to test 4.7.4. One person locked and unpinned a topic and their user name was shown in the topic as expected as doing so. I came by and reversed the locking action and now the topic says that I am the one who both unpinned/locked the topic and then subsequently unlocked it, replacing the previous persons name.

We're currently self-hosting two sites and I've been an IPB customer for five years or better. I'm a bit concerned seeing this pop up in my ACP. Anyone with the capability to self-host is already aware of the Invision Community hosting offer. This conversion opportunity feels more like a warning to me. Edit: The image isn't showing up. There's a "Upgrade to Cloud" button in the top right of the ACP. I've seen similar approaches to this, and the conclusion, even if it takes a couple of years, is the service eventually moves to "the cloud" being the only option. Site URL: https://sagaswildwest.com Since updating to 4.7.4, I am getting constant 500 errors. I tried disabling all 3rd party apps and plug-ins. It let me in for a moment. I re-enabled them one by one and it did fine for one refresh of screen. Now I cannot get to the site at all. I checked on my theme's site and they started no template updates needed. I checked Marketplace and none of the apps show any updates. I cannot even get back to the site to copy the system error logs and share here. Should I put in an email Support ticket? Hello, I have outdated version of Invision Community and wanted to perform an upgrade to the latest one. First thing which came to me was the warning message that latest version Invision Community (4.7.4) requires PHP on version not lower than 8.0 so I've updated it on my side and when I did this side became unreachable. So I had to revert these changes back. Now side is functional again however I'm not able to perform an upgrade because PHP version I have is 7.4. Can someone tell me how to proceed with this ? I have a user that is getting an error when he checks his Attachments. I logged in as him through the APC and did not see the error message. However, when I actually log out and log in using his U/P I get the Something Went Wrong error message. Error code: EX0 When I look at his attachments he is only using 7.76 MB of unlimited allowance. He is the only user that I know of having this issue.
