Posted October 27, 20222 yr Hi, When you go to Commerce > Customer > Field and try to copy any of existing ones it will throw error. This is probably because at the same time of copying the field it tries to insert column for that in nexus_customers table using original field name of table that is being copied. Result? SQL Error - Cannot insert duplicate. That is actually pretty ancient Commerce error from times of IPB3.
October 27, 20222 yr Community Expert Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
October 27, 20222 yr Author FYI, worst part of that issue is that when you delete that "copied" field, the system will drop the column name of field name of the field that was copied = data loss.
