Is there a way to disable all activity (posts, comments, uploads, everything...) but still allow anyone to view the community? I think I can edit permissions for Groups to do this, but I was hoping for a simpler solution. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or are Permissions the only way? Thanks!

On a secondary note, we have a very small forum with a couple hundred users per day and google analytics puts our peak page views in a single day at 1.2k. Thus 750k page views a day makes no sense at all. Do you have robots.txt enabled on our account? There is no way we are even seeing a fraction of that. For instance, right now we have a grand total of 76 members and 9 guests online. Thanks.

Since the last 'bug fix update which repaired the REPORTS panel (as below), Admins/Mods are not receiving email advice of a new Report. The Notification badge shows ok. I have checked that all notification types are selected, cleared the cache again and still not working. Any ideas welcome.

We finally updated to PHP8 and latest Invision this week after delays with app/plugin updates. We have a repeating error showing up in the System Logs, and despite wanting to get to the bottom of it, it also made curious on how Support and other knowledgable Invision admins decipher what's going on from System Logs. Can anyone give me some basic guidance on what to make of this, and what to look for when looking at System Logs please? Backtrace Thanks in advance!

I install the patch fix, the patch install displayed error and did not complete the update process. When I try to complete the update, I get this error and my website is now offline. Hi there We recently transferred our site to a new hosting provider to comply with PHP8 and are having some issues when posting content The 403 Forbidden error is happening specifically when trying to post content that converts a forum hyperlink into a preview. If we remove the preview and have just the hyperlink the content posts fine. I also tried to edit a post to have the preview and the forum says "This comment can no longer be edited. It may have been moved or deleted, or too much time may have passed since it was posted for it to be edited." I read some of the problems that others were having and tried mod_security which didn't seem to work…

I was fooling around with adding a blog and during setup selected visible only to user I specify, and chose my own account. On reload I get only a white screen (any site page, from any browser, Mac). I discovered that if I delete history and cookies I can reload the site and browse as a guest, but as soon as I log in ... white screen. I deleted the (suspected cursed) blog but still cannot log in. I tried logging in using a different account (an admin account, then a test user account, both from the ACP and from history-deleted other browsers) and always white screen. Browsers are giving me 500 errors so it feels like I blocked myself somehow ...

Hello, I am searching for the option to enable the possibility to change from one theme to another. we all have it except of a certain group, for which i cannot enable it. is this an error? or where is that setting? also, when trying to change the primary group of a member in that specific group, I cant change it. (so that I just change the group of that few members that have this problem, into the other group, that does not have this problem)

Hi there, I will upgrade pretty soon from 4.6.12 to 4.7.5, I had to delay because of plugins compatibility at first and php compatibility after that. My question is : what should I do with the php version ? - switch to php 8.1 before update although it is not supported by 4.6.12 - stay on php 7.4 until the upgrade is done and switch to 8.1 - temporarily use php 8 for the upgrade

I've always received a email when a report has been sent in but these have stopped in the past few weeks, I'm now not getting any. I am still getting moderator queue emails and new topics (for followed topics) I also noticed when testing the reports, that the person who sends the report sees this The delete your report button does nothing, the notification that it has been sent in remains and I have to action it myself. However, the point is that I'm no longer getting an email when that report is sent in. Please see my system logs for 8:51am and 8:52am as there is an error log for the report as well for when I tested sending in a report

Hello, After upgrading our forum to latest version (4.7.5) and PHP 8 the Member Map application isn't working anymore and is disabled (which was expected). We've purchased the updated version (Community Map), but when trying to deploy it there's a message stating "This resource is already installed and up to date". I've asked some help to the developer, he says that it should be removed or corrected by support : Can you have a look at this and do the needed action ?

Hi, We are having a reoccurring issue with user ranks being randomly reset for users. We have to manually go in and update their points in order to fix this and it's happening frequently. I know that we are able to rebuild user ranks, but this loses data for badges that were earned during a temporary login window rule and doesn't fix the actual problem. Liam

Hi there, I'd like to let my members uploading and attaching images in the Editor when they are posting content in Pages. Just to the Content field, not in comments. Apparently I only can set rights globally in my members group, isn't it? Can I set this up? Cheers, Ibai
