I send about 180k/m but it would cost more to choose the 100k plan and then be charged the fee for each additional email over that.  A lot of our members prefer to get email notifications since they pop up on their mobile.  Good alternative until our website's mobile app is finished and they finally get push notifications.

Super annoyed with SendGrid mainly because they didn't say anything to me and I had to discover this on my own. And then their solution is to make me pay more. Gurrrrl. 

Yea that's the plan they're suggesting I move to, which is 6 x the price of what I've been paying (and am trying to keep my expenses as low as possible cause, well, 2020 lol). 
Wondering if there are any other options? 
Just checked out SparkPost. So this isn't compatible with IPS? Are there any alternatives to SendGrid? Besides the cloud option of course. @ahc

We stopped using SendGrid for this reason.  More than half of our emails were not being delivered because we kept being assigned IP addresses that were blocked by most of the top providers.  When I sent in a ticket, they told me I would need to pay more money or just deal with it because they don't try to get their IPs unblocked.
I dealt with it by deleting my SendGrid account.  They got rid of SparkPost integration because of numerous issues and terrible customer service, but I actually had zero issues using SparkPost where I've always had those issues with SendGrid.

We are integrated with Google cloud platform. I'm not sure. It all goes through GCP.
It doesn't look like there's anything on their pricing page that matches what we have, so I'm not sure if we're grandfathered in some way.
On their pricing page, you'd need the $90/month option to get a dedicated IP for outbound/inbound mail. No matter what service you'd go to, you want dedicated IP addresses to mitigate against someone else doing bad things and you getting blacklisted as a result. Otherwise, it may just be a matter of time from these reports.

What plan are you on? They're advising me to upgrade now (of course lol). 
Honestly, this is a huge nightmare. I have to be able to send emails out and need to find a solution asap. 

Sooo I checked why my sending activity history with SendGrid was so weird lately. They said this:

We get a lot of mail rejections from corporate domains from SendGrid, deliverability to Google is still quite high, although read rates are much lower. We are using our own custom e-mail stack now and hardly ever deal with rejections.
Either way, if SendGrid is still working great for you, I wish you the best.

SendGrid's shared IP pool is being blacklisted at an increasing amount of places. It's no longer a great place for deliverability.

- can only see the comments of the members of the group
- can only see his own comments

I'm going to assume you mean that you update the forum itself and not the topics/posts within it?
If yes then the answer is no. "Last update" information is exclusive to the last post (not even update) that was posted to the forum.

I think one thing that IP.Board has been lacking in the past is an easier way to manage user groups. As new permissions are added in new versions, it becomes rather time consuming to update every user group to ensure these are set how we'd like, especially for anyone running a board with 10+ groups. It would be great if we could just have each group (optionally) inherit permissions from another group, and the ability to leave a permission blank in order to inherit it from the parent group.

Right now, the only way to get anything close to this would be to assign tons of secondary groups, but in the end I think that just makes it more confusing to manage everything.

It uses a moderator permission. Enable it for the members/groups you want.

The sticky notes look impressive! I love it. I am creating my first forum and would love to use it. I am using 4.5 beta 4 because it has many of the features that I wanted for my forum.
I would love to purchase Sticky Notes but I would like to know if it is compatible with 4.5 version. If not, will it be soon?

I would add that the invoice would need an editor to control how everything looks and what is actually shown. Both to make it compliant with legal requirements and branding requirements. The default IPS invoice is extremely simple. 
At the moment, I am dealing with every purchase manually and add them to my own invoice program, but that is a lot of unnecessary work.

I don't know about you, but as a forum owner selling subscription plans and products, I will have to generate lot of invoices and download all of them. However ACP will not do any of that, I know IPS is not an accounting software but it just doesn't have the minimum requirements to get the work done to deliver to the accountant. 
I don't know about other forum owners selling products and subscriptions, but I have from 500 invoices every quarter. And there is not a way to download all the invoices, not even the possibility of manually generating a PDF of a single invoice 😞 😞
I don't know about other countries but where I live in Spain, and in many other countries, you have to deliver all the invoices every quarter. I will send them to the accountant, those with VAT and those without VAT and then he will do the magic to pay the taxes to the government.
What is IPS missing? A few basic functinalities. I am not asking for a complex accounting software, it's way beyond the scope of this message, but IPS doesn't even generate a PDF of an invoice and that's very sad. It can only print, cancel, redund or delete. Print will generate and HTML page that you "could use" to print it as PDF. But it's not the same, nothing to do with a PDF template with a fixed width and layout. IPS doesn't have any of that.

These are the basic functionalities that it should have.

See attachment. It's the online payment software I am currently using, it has all that a much more. and it's just a membership software. But at least I can generate the PDF and download all of them at once PDF template to generate a professional looking template. The Print invoice function is far from that Filter payments/invoices by dates so that the invoices for the last quarter or month can be downloaded and sent to the accountant. There is an actual search for invoices that filters them out by date, the bulk pdf invoice would be needed
Like I said above, I don't know how other forum owners selling products do it but you just can't sell products in my country and not paying the taxes for each and every country they are being sold to. And ACP is missing three very basic functions: generate PDF, download PDF, download all PDF invoices.

I know it's a bit confusing and I will be clearing it up but you need to enable the "create topic" setting as well. Even if only using the post reply feature.
I will be looking through the beta soon but so far I haven't had any reported issues.
I'm not sure what else to suggest at this point. Are you planning to upgrade to IPB 4.5 soon? As they may have improved the position I can hook into new signups.
