We need the ability to block form submission if there are links or a character match for http etc…
Without the ability to send links, they’ll stop spamming.

    It’s getting terrible lately.

Hi Guys, I actually don't mind the new "Upgrade to Cloud" link in the AdminCP. It's something I would love to do. The advantages seem really nice.
However, the decision to upgrade or not would be ultra simple if there was a place in AdminCP that showed something like, "If you upgrade to the cloud plan, based on your current site stats and disk usage, the right plan would be ABC." This would put the information I need, right in front of me. Even if you couldn't assess disk usage, the other stats aligned with cloud plans would be really nice.
Yes, all of the info is probably there for me to find, but when in doubt, with a million other things going on in life, I just put it on the back burner.

Thanks so much for the info about your experience. I'd love to move to IPS Cloud, but I want a simple way to know the cost. Right now I'd be guessing.
Does IPS show the number of page impressions in the AdminCP? If I knew this, I'd be able to look at the cloud plans and know which one fits my needs.

I've used Cloudflare for years with IPS. Love it. However, I can't imagine using it for anything SPAM related. The built-in IPS tools, with some wise user/group setup, are almost perfect.
I used to get thousands of SPAM per day. Now I know get about ten and they all come via the Contact Us form. If I could block all URLs in this form, life would be good.

    OK, here are the details.
The user must have posted the contents into the post from elsewhere. The source had this code on the top.
    <div id=":e1z"> <div aria-label="Message Body" aria-multiline="true" contenteditable="true" g_editable="true" id=":e23" itacorner="6,7:1,1,0,0" role="textbox" spellcheck="false" tabindex="1">
I removed this code and the post is now normal and working.
Thank you everyone for the help. Awesome community!

I would suggest giving that a quick try.  If that does not work, switch yourself back to the default theme.  That will narrow out everything not part of the stock software.

I signed up with a test user and can confirm that the images disappear if you’re logged in. I assume it has something to do with why I’m able to “edit” the post by clicking somewhere in the post text:

I can only “edit” this post, not the other posts in the topic. Try to disable the relevant plugin/application and see if it makes any difference!
Edit: The image in this post works just fine in Safari, even when logged in.

The images show for me on Safari with my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iPhone.

I see all four images in Safari on both my Mac (running macOS 12.0.1) and my iPhone (running iOS 15.3). Does it happen with any other images in other posts? Do you have any extensions running, or are you using special network settings?
You should also check the developer console in Safari for any error messages. To open this console, go to Preferences > Advanced and enable “Show Develop menu in menu bar”. Then, press Command + Option + C, and look for any messages marked with yellow or red.

Given that users can click a single button to stop the emails, it would be great if admin had that capability.

Thank you for updating access. The disabled "Standard" login handler was mislabeled as it was actually the MySQL Database external login handler. I have deleted this for you to remove confusion. If you do need the MySQL Database external login handler in the future, you can read add it in the ACP by clicking the create new button.
  24. Thanks
Chris027 reacted to Jim M in Login Methods
Depending on how old your installation is, you may have logins posted there that you may not be using like the Invision Community or Facebook. The weird thing is having two Standard login handlers here. Could you please ensure that the user on file in our Client Area has full access to your ACP? Currently, we do not. I'd like to look as you shouldn't have duplicates of those.
You can read about connecting two Invision Community installations here though:
