Would you also agree that this would be an incredible feature to have built in to the forum? I think it would be amazing. Such a small but significant feature would make a big difference. I really get worried of the idea of having to install so many plugins knowing at any moment the developer could decide to stop supporting or updating the plugin, not to mention the possibilities of plugins conflicting with each other and causing errors and breaking the forums functionality. 

I do hope one day this feature gets added by IPS.

It has just been a week since I started using it. The app does a decent job and the adoption by users is quick. A few things could be changed here and there to make it more useful but depending on what you are using it for, it is a great app overall and has a lot more potential in the future.

As I started watching the video, I laughed and my eyes watered at the same time. Why? Excitement! 

It's truly hard to fully compete with the likes of Elementor, Divi, or even WPBakery, but it's not impossible. You guys are definitely headed in the right direction.

I was just going to ask, if it's possible to have 2 or 3 blocks side by side, so I can place images in each block, then I saw your comment ...

If I wanted just the top row to have 3 columns, then underneath that, 1 column, then under that, 2 columns, is that possible? If not, being able to customize the layout of a page like, pretty much like the page builders I mentioned would be incredible.

@Matt @bfarber Do you think it would be possible to allow creation of blocks that contain widget areas for the purpose of creating building blocks rather than content blocks? I know the way Widgets work right now is a bit restricted in that regards, but maybe that could change a bit in the future?

I think what is missing are containers.
In theory all you need is a few full width widget areas and then a system of containers and modules (blocks).
This way I can add a container that have a 70/30 split in the columns to get content and sidebar. I can add a 3 column block inside the content container and then a 2+1 column block inside one of the 3 column containers...and so on.
Right now you only have blocks so you have to hardcode the content, while a container + modules system would basically give you total freedom to create and use the pages widget system any way you can imagine.
Basically a container would be kind of like a modular way to register new widget areas with predefined conditions (columns/rows)
Does that make sense?

Can you look into this error once you get time? The others are not as important as this since I just added Raffles System to my board and it is getting a lot of activity but I have to manually add users and deduct their points as they cannot apply even if they have points.

It's a BETA but works fine for me, just make sure to delete the image manually before you deinstall the plugin.

The concept of having a dashboard like overview is not a bad idea, but it would require a custom plugin I think as you probably want the users to define what is important to them...

Big files found in my uploads folders.  If these are unfinished Plupload chunks then shouldn't IPS system be deleting these?
 

I would love to see an automated payment option.
I created a group who can't see ads. 
I want members to contribute with posts and threads to earn X amount of points so they can buy a 1 month pass to be included in this group. After 1 month, they will need to re-buy the membership with their points. Instead of manually having to re-purchase, it could automatically be deducted. If they don't have enough points, it won't go through. Thoughts? 
Update: Ok I didn't realize you can create a subscription where the payment type is Members Shop points. Dopeee.

WOW, this is 5 years old and still has not been implemented? As someone who just started using Advertisements for myself, I definitely see the benefit of being able to target certain sections of the forum, the easy way, not by having to edit templates.

 

I am planning on buying this plugin for certain in any case. But I want to ask, is it possible to unlock topic content with points?
Or for example link(s) in a topic with points?
And will the thread-starter be able to earn % of the points the users spent to unlock the content?

I assume that this short period has passed, now two years later, yet I see no mention of it in the guides. Where can we find this option?

For the next update in the Advertisements Section, Would it be possible to add the forums that you would like the ads to be shown in? Some people might get sponsors for specific subforms...should be a simple add on. Default can be all forum, and then you can select which forums, like in the announcements dropdown.

Is it possible that the teaser will set automatecly by a limit of 500 characters and at the bottom there is a "read more" button which linked the original topic.

The same thinking applies to Blogs.  Do you have a need for Blogs?  If not, then don't worry about it.  

I use clubs (a lot) but have found no use for blogs on one of the sites I maintain.
But I think for some communities it's of course a great feature.

I've always found the gallery quite cumbersome and with many users it's hard to navigate and find decent content.
