@Afrodude - what browser are you using? If Firefox, see here for a little more information on that error you are seeing.
 

The selection on whether or not to cache a block is when you create a custom block with custom content, and create this from the admin CP. You will not see this on standard blocks you add on the front end of the site

There should be no problem with updating to the latest release, and we would recommend doing this

This has now been corrected for you, and you are able to log in. The issue here is that while your site is at root, its using files from a forums folder. There is a copy of files which are residing in the root of your FTP, and those are not actually the files your site is using. So you are editing the wrong files there. Note, you should not need any of the suggested edits above for your site to work correctly, so they have been removed.
 
All that was needed there was the conf_global.php file to be edited to https correctly. You were editing the wrong one there.

This isnt achievable other than selecting the correct locale for your language pack. You can do this on cloud from your language pack also

There is no way in which to do that at the present time, unfortunately. I have moved this ticket to our suggestions area so it may be considered at some point in the future

Hi Marc, yes indeed...seems like that helped! 🙂

You will find block cache settings in the AdminCP, System/Settings/Advanced Configuration under the 'Server Environment' tab and then look for Performance. You will see 'Cache sidebar, header and footer blocks' settings.
However, you cannot turn block settings off, but you can bring it down to 1 minute.

Sorry to see you were having issues there. As a cloud customer, we are able to resolve that on  your behalf, and this has now been done for you. If you are seeing the same issue still, please clear your browser cache and test again. 

I  see from your ticket there it seems to have been an isolated incident and you have things rebuilt now. Of course if you see any issues like that in the future, please do let us know.

There is a difference:
If you're using the designer mode or IN_DEV, and you download a theme, you'll get a form with fields for the author name and authors homepage, while the download without IN_DEV or designer mode will just download the theme, which isn't a bug per se, but it's confusing, hence the internal suggestion to simplify this.
