The short answer to the first question is "It will break". Dont do it.
If you connect both to the same database, its simply not a developer forum, as anything you amend/change will affect both instances. You could end up with files being saved to one location, when they should be saved to another, anything cached on disk will be saved to 2 different locations. And these are just the things I can think of from the top of my head.

Thank you both for your push in the right direction. Switched to original english I'm getting the correct message: 
"You are running PHP version 8.0.30. While this version is compatible, future releases of our software will require version 8.1.0 or above. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator to ask for an upgrade."
I will stay on english, but contact / inform the author too.

If anybody else runs into this issue => It's happening when the embed links to a deleted comment/review, so the error is "correct", but I have to admit that it's not really user-friendly, so we improved this by replacing the error with a more meaningful error message and we'll also output the link to the content item the comment/review belonged to.

If I sell hours of support or hours of lessons, the member must not simply purchase an hour of lessons, but an hour of lessons on a specific day, at a specific time slot.
it would be too tedious if we let each purchased member have an hour and then have to discuss with them to find the right time slot, the right day...

Im interested to hear what part of these you believe you cant already do in some way, other than the leaderboard?
Points  - This is the bases of the current achievements system
Score - Every user has an amount of points, so that would be your score
Virtual Gift - Essentially, if they are virtual in nature, you could use badges for this
Points are of course already awarded based on rules as you have suggested there.
 
 

This is something you would need to ask the author of that custom application. We are unable to provide any guarantee on 3rd party applications.

Do you have any external caching running at all that may be influencing this? If so, could you please disable and let us know if this resolves the issue?

What are the criteria that you are using at the query level to select those members?

As was already mentioned in the post you mention from 2020, it is a large change that requires a major change in the platform. v5 is that major change, and even with that, we are having to move it part by part. While I understand you want this to change over night, its going to take time. 

Every group will be ticked on module permissions by default. General permissions for areas will then be defined by other areas. So mod CP for example shows if you are a moderator. Module permissions are really meant for if you want to switch an area off as if it doesnt exist for a group at all. 

Got Pages? In the ACP, do the following (specifics included only...if it's not specifically mentioned, it's up to you what you set things as)
