  1. You need to contact your hosting company on this again, or change hosting company. You cannot change the numbe rof connections your site makes to the database, as thats what it is requiring
  2. There is no built in facility to add captcha to login forms at present
  3. You would add/remove access to this from moderator permissions. So members->Staff->Moderators, and edit the relevant entries there. It would be "Can use sidebar" you are looking for
  4. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  5. If you are referring to your card details on file for paying for your renewals here, you update it within our client area, not your site. https://invisioncommunity.com/clientarea
  6. You would need to contact your hosting company if you have issues with tables that are crashed. We are unable to assist with hosting related issues unfortunately.
  7. Not entirely correct. That will download the structure, not its contents There is no way in which to export and import a pages databases content. But Im suspecting here you may not actually be referring to databases as in the pages application, but rather the invision platform itself? If so, you would need to use the converters for that, and would need to upgrade that other site to the latest release to use these.
  8. Im a little confused by your response there. mov is an accepted filetype, however they are also apple specific and will only play on apple devices. This is not something over which we have control. You can of course limit the uploading to specific types of file if you wanted to do so
  9. There is no way in which to count only new users unfortunately, no. You would indeed need to put a trigger before you can add a milestone such as how long. So you would add "When member logs in for the first time that day" then add the milestone of how long they have been registered
  10. To clarify, this isnt an issue with the software. Its that your browser will not play it
  11. Ive added this one as a bug report, as I suspect this may actually be an oversight. Of course, there may well be good reason for it, but that will be confirmed if it is the case.
  12. Just to explain. It happens because the databases 'page' determines the URLs of all your articles pages. So if you remove it from the page in which the main database belongs on your site, it will remove the link for all articles.
  13. I have created a ticket on this for you, and someone will be in contact as soon as possible.
  14. If it's your "articles.html" page, its because you actually have no database attached to it. You would need to edit that page, and add the database to the page again.
  15. It sounds like rewrites are not properly working on your server unfortunately. Either that or there is something else also redirecting
  16. We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
  17. You are contradicting yourself a little there. These are either guidance, or requirements. They cant be both. The fact sites are using them doesn't make them a requirement. I understand you may like for these things to exist in the software, and feel free to do a feedback post on these to request changes in the platform if you would like for this to happen. But I cannot stress enough, you cant assume it's a requirement based on sites using them. Just as an example. Almost every site on the internet has a footer of some type on their site. That doesn't mean having a footer is a requirement.
  18. There is no way in which to stop that process once its started, other than manually manipulating it in the database. Of course doing that would mean it would be part processed.
  19. Just having a quick read through there, I feel "requirement" is a little disingenuous here. What you have linked to there is "guidance" and not something that is a requirement.
  20. You would need to gain support form the supplier of that 3rd party application. We would not provide support for it here on the invision community.
  21. Glad to hear you have things working again 🙂
