Adriano Faria Posted April 26, 2018 Author Posted April 26, 2018 (edited) It shows fine on default theme, the only one supported. Blocks had a new div (swipe). Category view had no change. I'll test the widgets. I don't remember have used it on 5.2.0. Edited April 26, 2018 by Adriano Faria

I forgot I've added the slider there. Fixed: 1 hour ago, Stefan Johansson_72643 said: In the actual Links Directory, the category images are also shown as "full size", in my case 250x250 px. In the previous version (IPB 4.2.9 and LinksDir 5.1.0) the category images were resized to ~100 x 100 (smaller than the original size). Category view had no change: - 4.2.9: - 4.3.1: I will release a fix for the Link Feed.

Stefan Johansson_72643 Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Thanks for fixing the widgets. Regarding the category images, I'll reupload images with smaller dimensions.

As I like to import (and manage) 1000+ links from an Excel sheet and/or CSV file, and doing it manually? Ufff. I think it would also be a great way to maintain the list. If you could quickly export the list along with an indication if the link was broken, you could then purge old or broken links and add new ones. Then import the updated list. JTHastings 1

Andreas Toscan Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 we like to make it possible for guests, to review links... but this option is greyed out... how can we give guests the right to review? kind regards, andreas

This is framework thingy, not from the app. Guests can't review in all other areas (Downloads, Gallery, Pages, etc). Andreas Toscan 1
SecondSight Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 (edited) Hello ! ? I'm using version 5.2.1. I've cleared cache in the ACP and in my browsers, but the links feed still doesn't look good. It is too small and the text has a problem : Why don't you make it look like in the downloads section ? (as it was before in fact, with bigger pictures and text below) : Edited May 2, 2018 by SecondSight svit 1
Adriano Faria Posted May 2, 2018 Author Posted May 2, 2018 What's New in Version 5.2.2: Link Feed template changed to block style (like on Links Directory What's New index block) Edit link page will now use same template of when you're submitting a link Compatibility with IPS 4.3 ONLY! SecondSight Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 I've upgraded and it looks good now : ? Thank you ! ? Adriano Faria 1
Josiah Wallingford Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Generated images are just showing this for me:
Adriano Faria Posted June 2, 2018 Author Posted June 2, 2018 This is related to the site or to the thumb provider. That happens quite a lot due to several reasons that I cannot control, like the provider is offline or having any temporary issue. There’s an option to rebuild thumbnail in the link view. If it insists, simply change provider in the settings. Josiah Wallingford 1
Millipede Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 I apologise if this is a daft question... I will be - very belatedly, I know, but better late than never - upgrading my forum from v.3.3.4 to v.4.3.3. I have the older Links Directory v.4_1_1_b on it. Can I upgrade the Links Directory without losing anything, or will I have to start from scratch with 200+ links (and their thumbnails)?
Adriano Faria Posted June 12, 2018 Author Posted June 12, 2018 Yes, this app uses data from old version. Upgrade your board then buy this version if you already haven’t made it and upgrade Links Directory. New screenshots will be generated. Let me know if you need help after upgrade your board. Millipede Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Brilliant, thanks so much for confirming this, Adriano! The thought of starting from scratch had me in a panic...
Simon Harvey Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Hello, I have installed the Links Directory plugin on my community site and it seems to be working great, except for a layout issue in the "What's New" and "Random Links" sections. Do you know what might be causing this? See screenshot: https://www.signlanguageforum.com/asl/links/
Adriano Faria Posted June 18, 2018 Author Posted June 18, 2018 You probably aren’t using latest version: This is my site right now. You seem to be using the version to IPS 4.2.
Optic14 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Hi @Adriano Faria this looks interesting. Presales question. Is it suitable for YouTube/Discord links? Can members upload their own thumbnail instead of using auto screenshot service?

Never used Discord so post a link here if it uses another protocol and I’ll test. 8 minutes ago, Optic14 said: Can members upload their own thumbnail instead of using auto screenshot service? Yes.
Whiskey Bizness Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 I had purchased this add-on a while ago but held off implementing it until now. I am having a problem, though, where I cannot seem to get the application to display a map of the entry's location. Google Maps is enabled on my forum and works just fine for other things. I have added the extra "Address" field to Links Directory, but still nothing. What am I doing wrong?
