I set up my advertisements years ago before I realized there would be issues with the IPS Discussion Software. I need to fix these issues and I am willing to pay for a tested solution that you provide and install. I have space for 6 ads at the top of each Discussion and Blog page. There are 4 ads there now. They are in 2 rows and 3 columns. I installed them with simple code on the advertisement and promotion sections years ago. I need the solution to be simple so that I can insert new ads and replace old ads. I am not a techie. Ok, so my forum is a fairly large (maybe not by many standards) international one, hosted on a VPS here in South Africa. Fairly reputable and large data centre, and full managed as I am mostly clueless when it comes to technical stuff. Recently I started to get a lot of complaints about slow loading times. As in pictures not loading, or waiting forever for the page to load. Not everyone is experiencing this, and for me the site is 100% fast and up all the time. I need some help. First let me say that I do not have the skills to update my site to the current version. In fact I can not even tell you what version I have. Back in 2019 they came out with a totally new 4.0 version that I did not understand how to use and did not possess the skills to update my site so I stopped paying the subscription fees. In the latest release of IPS, password reset e-mails seem to expire after 1-hour. If a user submits a password reset request and does not respond to the request within that hour, the first problem is the error they receive when clicking on the reset password link, It would be much better for this error to tell them that their password reset link has expired, and provide a link to submit a new password reset request. Hi, I have my active theme as child to default unmodified IPS theme. When I upgrade to higher IPS version, will my modified templates under child theme remain? Then after upgrade I can just go trough my modified child theme templates and sync changes I like? Thanks for answrs.

First of all let me tell the administrators/moderators that I could only select this forum for creating a new topic. I don't know why I couldn't select the Help & Support forum from the dropdown menu. I also couldn't find any "Create New Post" button in the Help & Support forum. Hence, I had to post here. Hello, 🙂 I have a message in my ACP : You are running PHP version 7.3.31. While this version is compatible, future releases of our software will require version 7.4.0 or above. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator to ask for an upgrade. After I "upgraded" php to version 7.4 (I'm using WHM/CPanel), I tried to access my community but I got a blank page. I asked a technician to have a look at it, but the best he gets when "upgrading" to php 7.4 is a 500 error message with the 'try again' button... : So I'm stuck with php 7.3.31... Is it safe to try php 7.8 in your opinion ? Thank you. 🙂

I have a field in pages field_18, which is a checkbox set. When I list values in my template, they usually are printed like this: Label: check1, check2, check3 I change to custom format in display options because I "need" it in a table, and I want each checkbox checked to be a link where it's filtering for that specific checkbox. So I've tried to do the stuff below. Not very sure of what I'm doing, but it is sort of working. I do, however, have a hardcoded url there. In my community the txt files download doesn't works. I will do a try here attaching a common txt file. All group users are able to download attached file. I don't have file extension restrictions. Any idea? trytodownload.txt update: here I am able to download the txt. What I am missing?
