I have just got the new version and got my website online so all good first try! But I would like to add in a background image now, but the tools only let you add in a logo as far as I can see. I have found the Themes section and then edit HTML and CSS code, but ufff I not a wiz kid and it has been years I last had a go at this type of stuff. Was just hoping somebody would point me to the right location to put in the code please. I have already uploaded my image ready. thank you. NM - Andy

I've been trying to find something similar I could use to post TV shows/Movies/On DVD releases on my IPB site that works exactly or something similar to the website "AniChart.net". This basically allows users to post upcoming shows which creates a page dedicated to the listing which you could then post a description, images, videos, & other material pertaining to the listing. If there isn't any kind of app like this, could someone who could create such a thing give me an estimate as to how much it would cost to create a app for IPB that works like this? Need import /export of warning texts plugin! right now there is no need for other settings , its just the texts i need to be able to export , and import from one licence to the other. I have many texts and have edited them so for now and for the future would like to be able to use that plugin everytime i have made changes to the texts, so that the other licence gets those updated texts with no hassle. would that be something easy or not so much ?

I'm running latest version of IPBoard 4.1.16.1 and I'm looking for a way to mark a Topic as answered and highlight the topic which answered the question. There are various services (https://kraken.io/ for example) that offer image optimization. Basically it is drastically reducing the size of the image without reducing the quality by much. In IPS we have GD and Imagemagick settings, but they are not enough apparently, i.e. I have the JPG quality at 70 and when I run the uploaded file through kraken, shortpixel, etc. it is reduced from 400k to 60k without any visual loss of quality. My wife and I have run a travel blog for several years. I'd like to migrate it to my current IPS4 site. The blog is built on Joomla and I've converted it to a Wordpress installation in preparation because I gather that this is easier. Hi, I have a working IPB forum for many years (15) and time to move to new version 4 (now it is IP.Board 3.4.8). The operation would be simple if not one custom add-on. The main page is custom made and displays all new posts/topics (current). Hello! is there a way to set the default inbuilt topic feed widget (that you can put either on sidebar or horizontally) to show 1 (for vertical) or 2 (for horizontal) images (drawn from each of the topics, automatically) ??? does this need a customisation ?

This application allows your members to save their favorite content or content which they need to access quickly.You can also add notes to your bookmark to find them faster, and you can set it as public (then it will be shown on the members profile once this feature is implemented. I had to implement this setting, so the people are able to set it already. It's better then if the people would have to set the privacy level for all their bookmarks once this is implemented

We (a German membership association, ~15k members, ~500 volunteer staff, 1 FT staff, 3 FTE staff, between 30kEUR and 60kEUR current IT spending per year) are currently evaluating options to integrate more social features into our decidedly dated website (we're also revamping the website & if there's a perfect match supporting both... well, we'd be happy, but for now this is chiefly the IPSCS side of things).
