I am still learning how to move around IPS 4.1.0, my live site will take a few weeks to be deployed. I was wondering if I should install Invision Community 4.5 Beta 4 to continue doing things with it. It seems that version 4.5 has many of the things I need for which I wanted to develop some enhancements. Should I install Beta 4 version and continue developing my new site with it? Or should I wait for the final release? Any estimated time of release for 4.5? Thanks a lot

I noticed Invision Gallery is generating two files - small and large thumbnails - and it displays large thumbnails in the gallery, not the original image. This leads to higher storage since the original image is still kept on the server. Is there any way to prevent large thumbnails from generating and instead Invision just using the original image?

This debate has come up on my site. Some saying that it creates "stressful competition" leading to a "toxic site" Others saying it's a powerful navigation tool. (and by others I mean mostly me) I've had these types of metrics and tools on the site for 12 years. I wonder why only now is it a problem. I am wondering what your thoughts are? do you use the leader board on your site? Do your members like it?

I don't want to "install" I want the old download button back. Is there no option for that now? oh I see there are multiple clicks now in order to download. Feels more difficult that it was. Also I am worried about how this will work for those of us who use downloads app in our communities. I don't want any install button, I sell media!

Hello, Does Invision Power Boards provide us license holders the ability to have a test license? We want to start building custom applications/plugins however we do not want to develop it on our main site. Someone mentioned to me that there is a way for license holders to have one license for a test server? Was wondering on where I can receive more information on that. Thank you!

Hello everyone, I've been trying to insert a HTML table in a post but there is no easy way to do that. I need to edit the source code as admin and then manually enter the HTML code. Isn't there any plugin that sort of extends the WYSIWYG editor to add the INSERT TABLE option?That would be awesome! Thanks a lot

Hello, I wanted to ask on the Picabay integration. When generating the API, I am being requested to 'give credits to Pixabay with a link whenever search results are displayed' I haven't found any link in the image search results, and wanted to make sure it's been integrated the right way. Hello, Can I pls ask how to control height of the main header? I would need to have it shorter, to just 'frame' the text, to avoid wasting of space. I am struggling to find it in the Theme editor. It appears the background has different height on each of my 5 websites after upgrading to 4.5 beta 2. Thank you.

We wanted to check if students who aren't saying anything, are actually interacting with the community e.g. by reading posts. But I can't find a way to easily track activity on the forum. I want to create a custom profile field that Admin can upload an image to selected members. I was able to do this with no issues, but when I click the toggle to NOT allow members to edit the field, then I, as an Admin, am not able to edit the field anymore! Am I missing something here? Another permission somewhere? Or do I have to flip the switch to allow editing everytime I want to add an image to a member's profile?

Hello everyone, I have the Pages module and I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on how to build a Page similar to IP Board Guides. I just want to have a two pages template, on the left side I want to have a list of articles and categories. When one of them is clicked, the right column will be updated with the content. I have been playing with the Pages module but I can't see how to accomplish that with the existing modules. Does this kind of Page require special coding or programming skills? I guess it requires the creation of a Database with the articles, is there anyone that can give me some pointers on how to do it? Or someone that woul…

I'm setting up subscriptions on y site and want them to be only for a year. I see it has the option of "Reset groups when purchase expires or is canceled?" but it doesn't seem to allow me to set a term? Where do I set the length of the subscription? Thanks in advance.
