I want to do a Pages database, but where each user has permissions to add only one record. Is this achieavable? Basically my idea is to have something similar to the custom profile fields, but to use more advanced visualization I want the flexibility of pages database. But I have no idea how to limit the amount of records each user has to 1...

I'm trying to format some more or less big tables in the CMS. I didn't find any nice CK-Plugins, just simple plain tables. What I found is http://russellgoldenberg.github.io/responsive-table-generator/ Produces pretty nice responsive tables, but when I paste it in the editor and submit it, it's just a plain non-responsive table again. (Didn't change colors in the sample.) Does anyone have a good solution for content tables? Be it a plugin or an external tool or a solution why my posted table isn't very pretty.

Fresh install of 4.1.18.2 (yesterday - now crawling with members) Can not get signatures to work right (Testing on myself only as well as standard members) Signatures are enabled both for the group, as well as in profile>profile settings. Have turned off all my plug ins (None of which should affect signatures) Have cleared my cache (post disabling plugins) Only thing not standard running atm is iawards not sure if that would affect signatures? IN ACP there is a setting for choosing an analytics provider, mine is set to "none" yet Ghostery give a tracker warning for Google Analytics in my brower how can this be removed please ?, I have no wish to use googles service and don't appreciate a browser warning telling me google tracker has been blocked it shouldn't have needed to be blocked because it shouldn't be there in the first place

With IP.commerce and downloads, you can earn money as a file submitter. My question is: is there any official receipt generated when anybody requests a payout and money is transferred? I would need a receipt that is valid for tax authorities: receipt requires a special title (maybe translation via language DB could help) receipt requires a unique, chronologically created receipt number adress of money receiver and sender date some special text about the payment maybe integration of tax numbers

The system sends a lot of information to the user, I would like this information to also be shown under Messages in the system for the user. Simply because e-mail messages can get lost, filtered or just never arrive. It would be great to be able to tell users to go to their messages to read what it was we sent to them, rather then having to trying to figure out what message was sent and find out that there are for the vast majority of e-mails in IPS no option to re-send them.

We have an item in our store that is for a third party service, the user simply gets a code they use at the third party. How can I send this code out automatically to the user when their payment is confirmed? I looked at licensing keys, but they seem to only support auto-generated keys, we have a static key. (And you can't use the key on our site)

In the IP Moderation Tools there is a section that says Spam service log = 1 What does this mean? I am trying to determine if a member is someone who I have previously banned and it is showing up as 1 under spam service log. I can't find anywhere in the docs where it explains what this means. Would love to know more information. Thanks

sorry everyone I've trawled the forums and you tube, but cant find anything, I am trying to set my site up so it loads into a homepage instead of the forum, I've watched videos on it but the all talk about either, portal or ip content and i cant find either of these in the market place, they are also mainly videos from 20010/11(cant find anything more up to date) if anyone could help me to do this i would really appreciate it, I have the latest version and also pages. My pre-IPS site contains a page which we've pushed in print and online media /events. For consistency, I want our new IPS upgrade to keep site.com/events as a page. Unfortunately, I can't create this in Pages: "This folder name cannot be used as it causes a URL collision with another installed application." It's a clash with the Calendar app. What can I do? Is it just a case of tracking down the FURLs which contain "events" and changing the word there? Or is there a list of reserved words somewhere?

I'm wondering... how would I set it up so the teams get pop ups or even just a notification on the forums that a support ticket had come in? I tried a test out and there was no notification sent. Seems silly to have to go to the panel, click on commerce, just to see if new tickets come in.

I'm currently using IPB 3.4.5 and I'm about to upgrade to the latest version we use the "Subscriptions Manager" addon that used to be available in the marketplace to accept paid subscriptions but its seems to have disappeared from the marketplace now so I'm just wondering how I deal with existing and new subscriptions after I've upgraded any help appreciated

The documentation for 4.0 does not at all match what I am seeing on my site (recently upgraded). I am constantly amazed at how hard it is to find any information out about the forums; love the product but wow, the documentation is really lacking. This guide: Says: " The Forums app contains several special widgets that can be placed in the header, footer, or sidebar. " I can't find them. I give up. Where are they? So I found a couple of plugins I thought could give me what the missing widgets provide. Hi, I have searched and checked here but found nothing about this... Please could you advise what is the recommended dimensions/size of the background image for the header of IPS 4.1.x, please? I'm hoping to invite some of my talented artistic members to create some background header images for one of my communities, and would like to give them some clear guidance before they start. Hi, I have installed IPS Forum on my localhost and as a licence I provided "[my-licence]-TESTINSTALL". Everything went good and I started using converter to transfer the data. After all data was transferred I wanted to finish the conversion and I got message: I tried to insert code once again but got: What is going on? Maybe I should not add -TESTINSTALL when installing on localhost? There is no typo in my licence. I'm afraid to try to install without -TESTINSTALL because I don't want to block my installation for production version.
