I figured this out once but now can't seem to get it figured out again. Maybe something changed. How do I give the Download listings a image other than a black box? I upload an image in the edit screen but it only appears on the download page itself, not the index lists.

Hey - I'd like to change the text on an empty forum that reads 'No posts here yet' to show 'You must be logged in to view this' for all users who are Guests. Would it be possible with something like this that I found on StackOverflow: <if test="!$this->member->getProperty('member_id')"> Or is this redundant, seeing as it was posted in 2011? I just updated from 3.4 to 4.2.7 and can't find any moderator/admin options in the front end. I can't edit/delete posts or ban spammer. There are no options available even though I am logged in as admin. Any idea what is going on?

Hello, I want to add Commerce in my license but I want to know if it supports EU VAT calculation, something that Nexus didn't supported that's why I never used it. Thank you Chris Edit: Follow up. I registered for a demo mostly to check Commerce and I seen that EU VAT is not supported. Sure you can set a Tax and name it EU VAT and then set tax rate per country but this is not the way that EU VAT works. Unfortunately, we have to move our current IPB 3.4.6 on PHP 5.3 to IPB 4.2.7 on PHP7. Obviously I found out that IPB 3.4.6 doesn't run on PHP7. So what are the correct steps to do the big bang? First upgrade 3.4.6 to 4.2.7 on PHP 5.3 and then just upgrade PHP to 7? 4 years ago we were forced to upgrade 2.x.x to 3.4.6 and it was pain in the you know where and the history repeats...

I run an ArmA3 gaming group and have beebn working on a website for some time. I have most of the home page and theme finished, but none of the background work. So members need to sign in via the website and then head to an application forum to get "accepted" into the group or not. When they are accepted in I want their profile picture to change to a certain picture [the rank they are] as well as the tag of the rank they have automatically [Rec]. As they rank up in the group I want to be able to then take that tag off and add another such as PVT or SGT with other profile pictures. If there a way I can do this automatically or is it all manual? If so how? …

Hi, I'm trying to create a "subscription" product where a new user can have a free 3 month trial before deciding on whether they want to commit to a subscription. Is there a way to 1:) Set this product to only be available one time per member and then lock it once used and 2.) set it to expire 3 months from when they've activated the trial? Thanks all!

I find the commerce app very complicated so I'm wondering if there was a way to use some other method in this case for paid membership subscriptions? I suppose I could just add a paypal button somewhere but then I'd have to move members into the "upgraded" group manually, which is do-able albeit that's as long as I managed to trace them properly.

Can anyone give an overview of how the EasyPost integration works? Basic workflow? I created an easypost account and added a payment method in case it was required. I entered my test key in the IPS ACP. I selected easypost as a shipping method for a test product that sells for $0. I get some USPS shipping options/costs showing when I look at the shipping tab for a product or reach checkout. But then what? After sale the Shipping tab for the order looks like every other shipping item. Packing sheet, address label, view invoice. Nothing appears anywhere that I can find on the easypost dashboard. Hi guys I've got a forum where membership is limited to local practitioners. We ask a bunch of questions on our registration page that help us determine if people applying are appropriate - every membership is manually approved. I get a reasonable number of spam requests, and have always wondered what the best combination of ban, flag as spammer, and delete is. In the past I have just deleted the account, but wonder if there is a better way? Should I mark as spam first, then delete? Does it not really matter?

I have quite a few users on our forums wanting to use the Ignore option on other users, but those who access the forum on a mobile device can't find how to do this, and I've been unable to help them either. I have a home page that I made with pages app. It uses IPB wrapper and mostly functions as a collection of site updates. I have a more pretty home page that is a totally different page designed for selling sign ups to guests. Is there a way that same link can be different page for logged in vs logged out? I have google adas on my site and have recently been advised by google of a policy violation. It seems that having ads on the login page, where there is little 'content' is a violation. i cannot work out how to remove ads from this page? my ads are shown on all pages in the top and bottom position just above the page footer. how can i isolate ads on this page and remove them to satisfy Google?
