Because IPBoards is the only user friendly I can use Nope core is little different then before so you have core plus any app so example can have core plus forum and that give use the forum setup or core plus pages and give you pages setup. So if wanted core plus forum $200 is the cost for self hosted same again core plus pages is $200 put if wanted core, forum and pages that $300 but if budget low CIC better route $30 lows per month and have all apps plus hosting. The core is like the background system that makes everything else work. You buy the core + any add-ons (like Forum, Blogs, and Pages) that you want use.
