Is there any way to hide the Chat tab from groups that don't have permission to use the chat? I didn't even realize it was visible to those groups until someone asked me why they were getting an error when clicking on it. Seems like this perhaps should be a setting in the Application Details in the ACP. There are other apps I also would like to restrict on a per-group basis. Thanks, ..Al

Hello! Our members would like to be able to download/print threads that are also more than 300 posts long. Displaying more than 300 posts on one page probably can be problematic for the server and/or client's browser (?), but there is no option to download/print any other then the _first_ 300 posts of the thread. The 300 post limit would be OK, if the user could select to download first 300 posts, then next 300 posts, then the third portion and so on. Thanks!

i'm gonna say it str8 out... community seo is soo friggin buggy.. and their support sucks.. really really really really really really badly.. sometimes i wished i was still with vb because vbseo was awesome, and so was their support and community.. now i'm just waiting for ips to finish furl'ing the rest of their apps, before i go live.

Hello, There seems to some info missing on certain licenses, or something, not sure. I found this out when I purchased a customers license from them. I'll show you what I mean by the below pictures. This one is the IP.Board Standard License: And this one is the IP.Board: Community Suite license info: The Community Suite one is missing the section for ACP.htaccess Username & Password. When I attempt to start chat, I get this message, "Service Temporaraly unavailabe. PLease again in a few minutes". Is this because I have left the Chat Room Server field empty? If so, where do I get that information? What do I put in there? Thanks

OK so I uninstalled the old Chat Service, upload all files and got a key and type this into the box but I keep getting the error No group was passed. Please try again. I have even tried generating new keys and tried about 10 of them and still get this error.. Any ideas?

I know many sites import news feeds from various news sites (CNN, Gaming Websites, etc.), and it can be very annoying when the bot or account used to add the topic fills up all of the Recently Added Topics. Could there be an option similar to the IP.Shoutbox, where we can add the form IDs of what is or isn't allowed (based on a combobox dropdown, of Whitelist or Blacklist). :)

We are investigating the possibility of offering a chat service for IPB directly from IPS. This chat service would run inside of your IPB install much like Gallery or Blog however the actual exchange of chat messages would be handled by IPS servers. The high volume of transactions needed for a chat room would probably get you banned from most web hosting providers and, even if you have high-end hosting, it requires a specially tuned server to perform well. You can forget that headache and let us handle the transactions. Chat room statistics and access to log archives will of course be available for owners. Even if there is more than one chatter in the room, only one 'Guest' is shown in the list. Its very confusing please do something about it. Either append random numbers to guest ids or better still allow guests to pick a name.

I am trying to install the new IP.Chat beta. I removed the old "IPS Add On / Chat Services" module and then uploaded the new files to the server. After doing this, the only application in the "Applications Not Installed" list is "IPS Add On / Chat Services". If I install that, it's just the same chat module from before (with Parachat and Addonchat). I have verified that I am uploading the new files to the proper location. Thanks for any insight. There is a possibility to change the system of displaying the navigation links. When you have many links in the horizontal bar, it's annoying to see the links that dont fit in it, going down, barely visible, not being in alignament with others. Maybe a drop-down menu or other system rather than a simple alignament in a horizontal position of the links. Thank you! Best regards!

m a new user of IPB 3 i've installed dat but ,,,nobody can PM anyone and i cannot read my Pm while sending I got error "Action failed" When try to Read PM i'm getting error "Driver Error There appears to be an error with the database. If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page.
