This is something that has been bothering me for some time now. Why E V E R Y image on a post must be thumb nailed and posted with a lightbox link? WHY? I know it is like this for long time now but still, it makes no sense to me. That would only make sense if only puts lightbox on images bigger than my upload limits. Not for smaller images like this one: Someone knows anything that can prevent that? Some configuration that i didn't found it, any plugins, anything? Thank you.

1. I configured my forum resources to use a commercial CDN. The forum software has an entry where I can configure a CDN URL. 👍 This significantly reduced the CPU load on hosting site. Readers also feel the site to be more responsive. 👍 2. However I noted some resources in the forum that do NOT "obey" the "CDN" configuration. a. /applications/core/interface/sounds/notification.mp3 b. Various .woff fonts 3. For the IPB team consideration to make it complete.

Would be great to have the ability to add a badge to members based on the number of years the user has been a member. To be able to add a 5 year, 10 year badge etc... would be really great.

Hi team, can be a great function to sell high ticket subscriptions to offer a fractioned payments. For example we can sell a annual subcription but payment charge in 3 consecutive months. Now I can't make this payment method with subscription options, so can be a grear function to upcomminng versions. This function can be an option for the same subcription plan, for exemple. Only one Annual Plan subscription and this payment options: Unique cuote: $300/year 3 months for $110/month, total amount $330 How do you think about? Thanks a lot.

IMG_9193.MP4 Hi, the mobile menu doesn’t work on viewing your own profile on this site using iPhone 11 chrome browser . I haven’t tested any other browsers . It works fine in the forums . It’s a bit of a pain to be honest having to navigate to another page to open the slide out menu.

Having a separate test/dev site separate from your "production" environment is pretty much standard practice. Yet for cloud accounts that has presented a problem ... unless we've missed something that is available. Since transitioning to Invision cloud , in addition to our main site, we have paid for the smallest legacy cloud account as a test/dev site. Its closed to guests , and can only be accessed by accounts that are created by our Admin. We prototyped our site there prior to our actual migration from our previous vendor and have maintained it since. While in Table view and browsing the list of Topics, the topic starter has their name listed on the left and the last user to reply has both their name and avatar on the right. However, in Fluid view the information shown is slightly different. The topic start has their avatar and name on the left, and the last person to reply only their name on the right. This is on a desktop. Here is an example. Table view: Fluid view: When viewing on mobile devices, there are similar inconsistencies. Hi, It may be useful to reduce database occupancy to add an option detecting full quotes (when fully quoting the last posted message) and automatically removing it. Some users don't know how to post without just quoting the full previous post they're answering to... As a bonus it also can enhance the readability of a discussion when such users participate. Very often misconfiguration and outdated third party additions in your software makes the software unuseable. Even so that you're not able to login in into ACP and disable them manually. It would be a good feature to set a variable in the constants.php to disable all(!) third party additions and the community loads with the default IPS modules. I don't know how complicated this is to implement but it would give the user some hint that something wrong was installed. (PS: Why is your subject length so short?)

To save clicks and improve user experience, there should not be select fields that suggest selecting something with single choice possibility. Example: I have two forums. The user group in questions can create topics in only one forum. No permission for other forum. There is no reason to ask him to choose a forum. I would appreciate if Invision Communty would bypass those "choice" windows where there is no really a choice.

I know the reason you've changed it but its all wrong and not user friendly. Since 4.6.8 clicking this link no longer goes to the latest post, but to the start of the topic. That couldn't be any less user friendly, especially for those that use those links to get to the latest post often.

I think this is a bug which has to be solved. When somebody replies to a status update when you hit the " save " button the page does not refresh even the reply gets posted. Here's a screenshot how it looks like :

In the topic owner management, sometimes replies are good to see by public, but maybe some replies aren't good enough to let it see publicly, so another ability requires is keep that reply only vissible for owner or moderators and responder. In case of extreme difficulty hide that reply as topic owner tool.

Hello, I use a lot the Pages app and the following functions would be useful. Edit reason: When a member edit a record does not have the option to add the reason why it was edited. Member signature in records: It will be useful to display members' signature in their records, a solution has been given here but it will be good to add it as an option.

Rules like "If a topic is X then do Y" would be super handy. X would be things like "older than T" or "has an answer marked as best" or "has gotten N upvotes and is in forum F" etc. Y would be things like "move topic to forum F" or "merge topic with topic T" or "feature topic" etc.

This one has always been a major complaint on my site... This also seems like it should be basic functionality of the downloads system. Why can you not set a download category as a section that can't be uploaded to and act just as a category header? I've tried multiple addons that are supposed to help, but they don't really work as expected. Currently setting permissions to not allow uploads to the parent category effect the child categories. Why not have a a toggle for that section to act as a header only (display all files for child cats under it like it currently does), just don't allow files to be uploaded to that section.

Hello IPS users and fellows, is there anyone running or using ES 7 services successfully with IPB 4.4.x (latest)? If someone knows when IPB is going to support ES 7 I would be thankful, too. We have a new box which supports ES 7 natively and don't really want to downgrade the stack manually... Thanks, Thomas

Another suggestion I'd like to make is to think of some way to target IP.Board members based on their interests so you can send bulk mail which would be more relevant: one way we can find out which ads can be more relevant to a particular member is just to answer a simple survey if you can call it where they can TICK their interests on a list and the bulk mail you send have to be related to a ticked topic. if not or nothing is ticked - bulk mail is sent. so basically as an admin you set up your bulk mail topics/categories/interest groups in ACP and you save them. members can tick or untick their interests in their profile settings. something like that. In the admin cp, under Community Enhancements, theres the option to allow posting GIFs directly from Giphy. Once those GIFs get posted, clicking on it should toggle pause. It can be really distracting trying to read a page of text while some flashy GIF is going off right next to it.
