1. I configured my forum resources to use a commercial CDN.
The forum software has an entry where I can configure a CDN URL. 👍
This significantly reduced the CPU load on hosting site. Readers also feel the site to be more responsive. 👍

2. However I noted some resources in the forum that do NOT "obey" the "CDN" configuration.
a. /applications/core/interface/sounds/notification.mp3
b. Various .woff fonts

3. For the IPB team consideration to make it complete.

 

 

This is something we want to look into closer in a future release.

There are dozens of CKEditor files currently not being served by the CDN.
