When you (IPS) start the development for the next release of IP.Board you just have to fix HTML entities so that international users can view the content of emails correct instead of seeing for instance & 1 3 9 ; instead of some Nordic characters. Many users are wondering/complaining why the contents of the emails look so strange. I think this is particularly important as you are looking to support IP.Board in a majority of the world languages.

Many times I have heard this request and it seems rather logical to me. The request is to put add the View New Content link to the bottom of the page as well as the top. New users entering the forum use the top VNC and when a regular user have read a topic and is located at the bottom of the page he or she can just click VNC at the bottom of the page instead of jumping to the top and then clicking VNC. It would fit between Mark Community Read and Help I think :)

Currently we can filter our search in IPS Marketplace down to the need for either IPB, blogs, gallery, IP downloads, IP content, Nexus, and Extra. Which is nice, but I'd like to take it 1 step further and be able to filter through version number compatibility. Nothing is more disappointing or frustrating than not knowing right away, if a modification or style is compatible with the software version you are currently using....... Unless I actually read the full description and this provided, if the author even included that information (such details should be mandatory). It would be really nice if I could simply click a button or something and narrow my search and fi…

I love the resource of the IPS Marketplace but I was thinking while version of IPB improvement, why not have a filtering system to allow by version of IPB so you can only get listing that come up for the version that one is seeking. :)

I'm glad I readed something about the upcoming changes to IPB 3.2. But leaving this behind is a bad idea I think due to the fact that your forcing the the user base to buy IPC. If a user has no need for IPC and just a portal that should stay available in IPB to the none IPC user base. As I think the application is pretty light and don't take much time to keep up it not a full waste of time. Killing things so that the major base of user will turn out the product is a good idea but keeping people who don't need it is not a good idea. Just some feedback.

Here lately after the beta of IPB 3.2 all the blogs and Devs mostly have gone quite. Of course they post on the forums but not much of any news lately. Has the development slow down or anything? Just wondering. Thanks

Pony up or hush up." @IPB, you are a wonderful company, but seriously I really hate when companies squash any criticism. You can make your statement but closing threads like this simply (at least to me) appears to be a way to shape the public discourse and record in a more favorable way to the person closing the topic.

A few members have mentioned the "description" field is missing - not having any luck on the search to find a list of changes to 3.2.0 I can't really be sure if it's gone by design and replaced with the tag field which, in my option, is probably a better idea anyway but can anyone confirm this is the case please. I kindly request a feature of saving / exporting logs, for example moderator logs as excel sheet. This will be very helpful, 1. If you want to work with the logs offline. 2. If you want to give logs to someone who doesn't have access to AdminCP Thank you.

I've got Wincache installed on my server, but I only found out it was possible to use this fully with IPB when I did some digging (link). Why not make an admin panel setting which lists the available caching systems and lets you choose? Most people have some form of accelerator/cache plugin now. I'm sure more people would use it if they knew it existed, which would speed up their forums.

It would be great if IP. Tracker could support the input of browser and operating system info in a drop-down menu. This could save a bit of time for both parties when bug reporting.

I'm kind of disappointed with IPB's support for RSS feeds (of board content, rather than importing). Out of the box there isn't a single one set up, and if you want to create them you appear to need to go through your forums, one by one, creating them. Surely an 'automatically generate RSS feeds for all public forums' setting would suit most people?

Well, since now in v3.2 deleted content is put into the trashcan but can be restored how about be shown as the removed content instead of deleting them from the topic itself. Alternatively you can have a small icon or something in-between posts to know that there is a deleted post there and with a click the admin could see it and/or restore it.

As the title says, why is the visual skin editor disabled for perpetual license holders? Is this a way to force us to buy a new license even though we were promises lifetime upgrades? It was never mentioned that some forum functions would be disableI am really liking the direction that 3.2 has taken but this is unacceptable.

I think it would be great if the user profile URLs could be formated in a nice and easy to rember way (same as facebook or likedin do) so that instead of the present www.myweb.com/user/2-username members would see www.myweb.com/name.surname (or a nickname) They could then spread their profile URL to friends and present them like their public profile homepages with contact details, friends, mottos etc.

What is the reasoning behind having now ay to get to first unread messages in private conversations? That just makes no sense to me. The only links within conversations I can find are first emssage and last message. When you get a new message you can't even go directly to it. edit: changed the title. lol not trying to be rude.

Working with filling in some untranslated strings after upgrading to 3.2.0. As I do not touch the ACP it would very much ease the translation process if I could choose to search only in public modules and not having too walk through all admin modules when searching for text strings.

OK so i created a topic using the rich text editor that consisted mainly of bullet points (two lists) like so: here is a bullet list and another line something else and for good measure another line edit another line another line second list needed for other stuffline for this list too I want another line etc etc last one again for good measure a day later I went back and edited the first list by adding another item to it, and in RTE mode I got an unparsed bbcode output after saving. Switched to simple editor and saved (thinking the bbcode would then parse) but it didn't. PS: Seeing a different "quick editor" than in the released version of 3.2 as well.
