For a new community I am working on, topics will be deleted after 90 days (for keeping a lid on my long term hosting costs). I want to give my users a way to archive selected topics to their local devices. The best way I have figured out for them to do this is to print the topic to a PDF. But, currently, printing a topic results in an ugly PDF and for topics with more than 1 page of replies is very cumbersome (as you have to print each page separately. So, can you: Fix printing CSS. Add a Print option for a topic post or a reply in the '...' menu. The Print menu item should give the option of "including all replies" or "only print the s…

Hello, I'm making this suggestion based on my earlier support request: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/465966-rest-api-limit-results Could there be a built-in feature for the REST API, where you can attach a user group to an API key to limit which information it can POST or GET from an endpoint? For example, as it is now doing GET requests on /core/members/{id} endpoint will return all of the information of a user (including sensitive). I'd like to limit these requests to the most basic user group, so that only public information can be queried. This allows us to do some integration between our forum and wiki, using an extension to query forum data. …

We've run in to a bit of a limitation with the IC gift card system. We have our IC Store set up with the 'Force users to make a purchase when registering?' option enabled. However this leaves new customers stuck when they want to sign up to our service and paying using a Gift Card, the new customer is unable to redeem their gift card because they need an account in order to redeem it. Ideally we'd like an option during the checkout process to redeem a gift card as payment for the purchase and then have the member account created. As it stands now, Gift Cards are unusable for new customers when the "Force users to make a purchase when registering" option is …

At Moderator CP > Reported Content It would be wonderful if you guys included a follow button to check if there is anything new because finding a specific report to follow up on takes time. This will make life simpler for administrators and staff, particularly in large communities.

Is this how the footer usually behaves when there isn't a big page with a lot of content? Example: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/forum/180-support/ This happens even with all themes not just here.

Its something that really would hugely help in any type of themed website here, but I know for sure with the Achievements system it would be unbelievably powerful. Many of our members are reporting that they want to do understand and work towards what things they can 'unlock' or 'achieve'. This clearly works cleverly well with Achievements and the numerous badges you can create for them to obtain. They otherwise feel lost due to the need of a sense of direction. This could work for any manual list an admin wanted to create for them to obtain. I would imagine it would look best on their Profile so it could understand what they've achieved so far. The core softwar…

I think the staff directory could use some retouching. 1. Allow people to be added twice to the directory. Just give a warning if they're being added twice, so people don't do it by accident. In my org, some volunteers hold 2 or even 3 very important roles. It takes a lot of messing around to get that to actually be displayed on the directory. 2. When you add a Group to the directory, let us organize the people in that group. Sort by alphabet? Sort by age? Sort manually? etc. Usually when I add a whole group, I want to display the team lead or leads first, before the team members, which I can otherwise do but which takes extra work. 3. Make a 3-person …

Is there a way to weight the search results of the internal search? I want search results from Pages to be weighted higher than search results from forums. Even better would be two (or more) sections on the search results page: first e.g. 10 results from Pages, a link to "more search results from this area" and then a section with 10 search results from Forums, again with a link to more search results from this area.

There is an excellent plug-in by @DawPi which allows site team to ban particular individuals from a topic. It's very helpful when you get troublemakers around – and unfortunately we do because a lot of the things we deal with are very controversial. We have some very important discussions going – generally speaking about people's legal rights and also about the legal actions that we are helping them take – and all too often, these discussions tend to get hijacked or diverted by people coming in with all sorts of unhelpful comments. Of course we could simply ban those people from viewing the discussion using the plug-in by @DawPi but this seems a little Draconian b…

Is it possible by now to activate group promotions based on club membership of a user? I think this would add a lot more flexibility.

I would declare this as a bug, otherwise please move to feature suggestion. If a deactivated plugin is being upgraded it automatically enables afterwards. It has a reason if I disable a plugin and shouldn't be reactivated by the system itself.

The user experience of the accordion menu on the notification settings page is really bad in my opinion. Whenever you click on one of the settings to expand the menu, it feels like it's lagging for a short period of time. I know that there is a loading indicator on the right side of the menu, but you can barely notice it because the menu expands too fast. (Which is good in theory but feels weird in practice) I think this could be improved by expanding the menu and show the loading state on the already expanded accordion menu. Maybe even show a skeleton loading state for the notification settings?

At the moment, the site team can remove followers of my a particular topic. However it's all or nothing. It would be very nice to be able to remove followers selectively so maybe there would be a little X next to each name and one can simply click on that X to remove that particular follower.I'm quite surprised that Invision haven't done this as standard. It would give site team is a bit more power to deal with unruly or unhelpful contributors

It would be nice to have a slider widget below or beside a download entry showing other downloads of the contributor in the marketplace. Same would also be nice for database entries.

Hello, Someone else may have posted this already. I would love a report on which email addresses have used a coupon code. I need to see if my competitors are on the list for example. Or to give a partner who I gave a promotion code information on how many/who of their clients used the promo/coupon code on our site. Thank you! Kelly

In IPB 3.4.x, there were options on all of the transactions to set an expiration date on the package purchased, regardless of whether or not the package was a recurring one or not. I used this option to edit the expiration date to ensure IPB expired the user's access on the date entered. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than manually trying to figure out who to remove from members access and who not to. In IPB 4.x, that option to edit the expiration doesn't exist if the package itself isn't set for a recurring renewal option. In my use case, we create one-time packages for workshops/memberships that are for a specific period of time and not offered again. Sin…

I suggest that anonymous posts are made possible to edit and delete by the one posting them. As of today these posts are anonymous also for submitter, unnecessarily excluding some use cases where you want to be able to maintain a post even though it has been submitted inkognito. E.g. jobs application, when you left something out in a post or where you regret what was said etc. Since admin is already today able to check who has submitted a post the database connection to the submitter still exists, so it is just a matter of opening up for editing.

The editor appears on the contact page and this should be removed. When sending an email, a user does not have to enter special characters.

Hello, I was wondering whether it's possible to duplicate a page. I am creating many similar pages and I can't see a way to duplicate the pages with the same settings (number of columns and permissions). It's very time consuming to create the page and then change everything, copy text from one then create a new block and paste text, etc. Thanks a lot.

Maybe a strange question but is everything on the website made inside the software you sell or are you using other software. If done in the software you sell would it be possible to give examples how it’s being done. The menu item “our community” is something i like how its being done for example. But how the blog look is also great. On my site IP.Pages what can you do with it i would like morre examples to make better use of it.

Hello, I believe ACP should be able to duplicate any page in ACP. Currently IPS pages cannot be duplicated. I am creating many similar pages, and I can't see a way to duplicate the pages with the same settings (number of columns and permissions). It's very time consuming to create the page and then change everything, copy text from one page to another. Imagine a page with several blocks of information and columns. You want to create many similar pages with different texts for different user groups and forums. It's just endless. The easier way would be to duplicate pages the same way a Forum category is duplicated and then edit here and there to finalize the new pag…

Is it possible to have a shopping cart in the IPS marketplace? For example, I may wish to make several purchases but can only do one at a time. This makes my bank jittery thinking that someone is hijacking my payment method when it sees multiple purchases going through one after the other and can stall payments until verified and this in turn makes it a nuisance when they text me and ask me to call them to verify that it's me making the purchases. With thanks
