Hello, The Forum members just cannot , view the private message page,, they got this error PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function author() on a non-object in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\*********\httpdocs\system\Theme\Theme.php(624) : eval()'d code on line 628 For admins I've tried Empty folders action , and its works but on members,, that doesn't work... is There way to empty all private messages on forums? I purchased IP board on the 28th March 2014. My licence has obviously expired as I haven't renewed it since then. If I renew my licence will I be able to use my licence to use the new IPS.40? Thanks for your help

I'd like to create a button called Tutorials in the navigation panel. This button would open up a separate area from the forums where categories can be created that can hold Tutorials. These is no option other than reading, so tracking views would be all that is needed (any mention of replies should be disabled). Is this possible in 4.x? I know this sounds like the Tutorial module that is available for 3.x but who knows if that module will be available, and it looks like it 4.0 should be able to create something this simple?

Hello, When an update comes out for eg RC4 how do I check what updates were made to the default templates? as I have a theme that only has very minor html changes and i want to know how do i keep them up-to-date with the default for the bug fixes etc. as there does not seem to be any diff tools.

Hello, My RC4 site has a serious display problem: - Text editor is not displayed (thus cannot post or reply), - Drop down menus not displayed properly, - The search box in ACP is not displayed, - When editing the theme, the items are not displayed in tab mode (General, Logo, Button Colors, etc...) - The arrow button for editing the blocks is moved to the bottom of the forum, nothing happens when clicking on it, - etc... Hello, We are getting lots of post's that are - and duplications in some cases, one post could = 8 of the same thing. We are also getting slow submit and mail sends. I just tried to send a mail and after clicking on the submit button a 500 error came up. Anyone else having any issues? Thanks

OK, so I'm working with a new installation of IPS4. Lots to really love and the admin panel is wonderfully redone. I was surprised not to see a "Gallery" and "Blogs" and "Downloads" sections and all stuck in "community" but I guess that's fine. Let's hope it won't get too cluttered. So I move to settings to check out "advanced configuration." In this day and age, is there anyone who expects to have URLs that include "index.php" in all the URLs? Personally I think this sets a poor first impression. Out of the box I would expect this to be hidden by default. Can't remember if this has been discussed before but something great for car forums and other like forums that have events + discussion around those events, that a Topic could in essence create an Event in the Calendar so a user doesn't have to manually do both to take advantage of both and provide better integration between the 2. The Topic would automatically have a link in the first post to the event and the event would have a link to the discussion. Calendar events have come a long way since v3 and I respect that but I feel like this is a big gap. When submitting my sitemap.php to Google webmaster tools, it reports error: "Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead." Is this a google error or a problem with the sitemap?

Hello, I created an application in dev mode and put my css / js files under "js" and "css" directories. Now when I export the application and try to install it in an production environment, the css and javascript isn't loaded. Where is my mistake? I also tried creating a plugin. Same error here.
