So with moderators able to access the sidebar they can do the following Manage blocks on the forums Edit content on pages Currently none of the actions performed on the sidebar are logged and I feel they should be. Example: You have a group of 4 that need to be able to edit content on certain pages, currently I can give them the "can manage sidebar" setting and then they can go and manage blocks on the forum and edit any content under pages. None of the changes are logged as a moderator action, and they should be. Pages should have revisions for content added/deleted or edited by a moderator. Hi, i just work with REST Api of forum and found bug. I try to fetch topics and first post of topic that is promoted for homepage proposes. But when i add image by media function of post request return just null. It's all right if i add image to post by url etc. but not when i use media upload editor for post.Bye.

It would be awesome if the "Signature" was in the "Edit Profile" page as it makes sense to be there. It's a little more of a nuisance to have to go to "Account Settings" to get to it since you can edit your Profile photo straight from the profile page. I would not mind if it were in both but I'd prefer that it be at least in the "Edit Profile" button.

I can't help but notice that if you're developing pages or different page-areas of your site, and want to rename/move pages into different folders on the AdminCP side to organize them, that you have to click the Support option and clear the cache every time you want your changes to carry across site-side. Could there be a button somewhere to clear the cache when developing things like this to save time? Better yet, for things like this (page renames, folder relocations etc) perhaps there should be an automatic cache-clear so that users (including the admin) who browse the site can see the changes straightaway?

I love the fact that we can finally have blocks all over the forum, but there are still room for some improvement that I believe should come as standard. Custom Blocks: The ability to add your own custom blocks using text, html and php as standard (without the need of another plug-in). Options to add CSS styles and definable for different groups. These blocks should have their own custom templates. Caching: The ability to cache (for a definable amount of time) or not to cache blocks. One of the things that I really miss is the ability to perform actions on more than one item listed in a table. For example: System/Overview/Files. There is a lot of files currently sitting on our server and the ability to mass delete/move or copy is something that I would expect in any up-to-date CMS these days. This could be applied to other areas such as System/Settings/Posting and the 'Acronym Expansion' and 'Profanity Filters'. It is a PITA having to mass delete items one at a time. Also, for consistency, there seems to be a few different icons used for 'delete button' in the back-end. Cheers

When translating a language, using the 'Search' (Search: English) box doesn't always return a result even though the string is present in the language database. The only way I have found to work as intended is to use the advanced language search option and select the 'English' textbox when entering a string to search.

Currently, if a member does something that you want to discourage, but isn't too severe, such as posting their thread in several places on the site, repeated bumping, or something like that, you have a choice between sending a PM, in which case there is no record of it to any other staff, so if it happens again the staff member dealing with it then can't see that it has happened before, or sending a verbal warning, which is tracked, but is far too aggressive under many circumstances - they only bumped a topic, so is not a proportional response. I've been IPB customer since 2009. I had IPB forum for two years. Last year I been mostly inactive because my community went down, so after long time I decided to take a peek in client area and honestly better I didn't. "and then once per 6 months thereafter. Additional requests will require payment of a $15 fee" ... this is just twisting peoples arm , they have to pay every six months for support and updates plus if they want to change forum url more the once 15$ fee , this is just ridiculous. It would be interesting to know how many in terms of number/percentage of members have uploaded a profile cover photo, also to be able to list those members for convenient viewing. It is very very strange that Commerce products, categories, etc. are not integrated into the search index. It is absolutely unacceptable. At least I see the search field in the store but it is for nothing here because it is not returning any result.

Right now, forum URLs of mine are like this: https://www.tyrenale.net/forums/forum/67-whitelist-applications/ I get why the /forums/forum/ bit exist, but is there any way we could have an option to change that? I mean- it makes sense, this is the link to a forum, but I think it's an ugly URL to have it be forums/forum/name. I'd much rather just have forums/67-whitelist-applications.

1. It would be nice if there were breadcrumbs inside of the ACP when you are looking a user and you want to go back to your filtered screen you can't. Please fix this. 2. It would be nice if Admins or specific users get notified via a support ticket in the the system or some way to have notifications when users are locked out of the system.

So far a quite bad experience again in 4.1 as it was in 3.4. It needs looong loooong hours to finish, so it should be made either a background task once you click it, or there should be an option like the "galleryRebuild4_ssh" that was available in 3.4 to do the task. Does this file still work for 4.1? Would be awesome. Having it run for 6 hours now and the progress bar is ~1/7 finished, leaving me no option to close the browser and always in fear that my session expires and it just stops as it used to do in 3.4, the reason why it was unusable there for me in the past.

Hi, We have over 500 users who are listed under ACP > Members > Validating as "Member has not yet responded to email change validation email". All those users requested email change ages ago (over a year ago), and we want to have a way to "reset" these users, i.e. unmark them as having requested an email change, so they are moved out of the "validating" list. I was checking why so many users are on this list, and most of them fall into two situations: (1) requested an email change to an email address that doesn't exist (e.g., typos such as gamil.com, hotmai.com, etc.) and (2) a temporary email issue either at our end or at the user's end. Hi! In this last day two users, from google login, has register (email notification with "guest as register...") and no confirm (then, automatic deletion after some time). but id increment is valid also for this invalid registration, then, a bad user in a virgin community can start to register and undo n*times, and cause a bad user-id counter (100 user id - instead exist only admin). i think this need some improvements, but i don't know how regards...

It'd be really helpful if we could change a member's user group from their profile. Having to log into the ACP, go to members, find them, then click a dropdown is very tedious. Communities like mine require changing user groups often. (People put in whitelist applications for our gaming sever, and are accepted then moved into the 'Whitelisted member' group.) I'd suggest putting it up besides Edit Profile. Just a little "Change group" button that admins can see (and that we can give permissions to use naturally).
