Why do not have a botton which group others advanced botton? so in mobile version if user want to use more botton only click this botton to choose more botton with any special function. Like the "Like" botton.....

Just a thought about a small cosmetic tweak which some might find appealing. On some forums (and I think a couple of 3rd-party Invision themes) I've seen a function where instead of beneath the forum title, a forum description appears in a small window when the user puts their mouse pointer over the forum name. I, for one, happen to like this quite a bit as it's a unique way of streamlining content on a forums listing page - it doesn't bombard people with text and gives a forums listing a little more dynamic flavour. Seems like a small thing, but I think it's pretty slick and would like to see it as an option someday.

Instead of just having the text body and a link to the record, why not just use the automatic record embed as if you posted a link to the record in a post/comment.

Not an immediate need but would be useful, especially for those who post support topics for plugins and then have them ignored and people PM directly first. "Thank you for contacting me. If this is about a plugin then please use the support topic unless it has been requested that you contact me via PM" Note: tongue is very much in cheek with this request, but it could potentially be useful for others.

Hi, A small but nice to have feature request... Please could you consider making the Admin CP Background Task widget's progress bars update live (via Ajax?), even if at say 1-2 second intervals if smooth real-time updates are not realistic for performance reasons? At the moment you have to refresh the page manually, old school style. E.g. when pushing content to Amazon S3 you could see and monitor the progress until it completes. Many thanks

Apparently (ticket #997071) this is working as intended... If a group doesn't have permission to access the site in the group settings, the option to "Allow filtering by this group" isn't displayed. The only way to change that setting, to include/exclude them from the search filters, is to temporarily allow them to access the site, then change the setting, then block them again. This is obviously not ideal, and I'm assuming it was just an oversight when setting up the form toggles.

It would be nice if we could enter a persons username to let them know I posted something they should see. For example, a person is helping me directly with a project and I want to mention him in a topic giving him thanks. Like I can tag someone of facebook.

Good to see many changes coming in 4.3 for Commerce! Will the expansion/consolidation for product custom fields make it in? Right now, customer custom fields, product custom fields, support ticket custom fields, profile custom fields and downloads "extra" fields all have varying degrees of customization, and unfortunately the one we need the most (product custom fields) lacks the majority of this customization that is available to the others. One example is the inability to provide a regex for fields to match, which means customers can enter all kinds of information instead of a restricted choice. What was fixed in this release? This is way too general and wanting to know more of what was fixed in the release. Waiting for the release to occur and wondering if something I submitted was fixed or not you never know because the changelog why very uninformed. So what issues were identified in 4.2.6? Why bother list just the date of the release but have no idea what was release for and what was fixed. Kind of like not being able to see the bug list and knowing if this is a common issue already reported so do I submit a ticket because I found a bug? Or did someone else already submit the same bug? Was the bug fixed in this release? You'll never know.

ACP > Pages > Page Management - Pages Minor enhancement: It would be nice of the folders were grouped and listed ahead of the single pages. Like Windows Explorer where folders listed ahead of documents. Like IP.Gallery where albums listed ahead of single images. It's a visual jumble when you have folders and pages together.

Hi, is the (now nearly 20 hour) delay in authorising our renewal really necessary? I get that these sort of checks are useful for new customers, but since we've been customers nearly 14 years, it seems a tad excessive.

Hello It is so convenient to manage subgroups on a mobile version with the check boxes than on computer, cos you need hold ctrl and add of remove subgroup as you know... It will be really nice to manage groups on the desktop computer with the check boxes as on the mobile version. Thank you.

If you are following a forum, and someone posts a topic there, but it is subsequently moved somewhere else, you keep the notification about that new topic, but in most cases the topic being moved means that it was in the wrong place in the first place, so users who were following the location that it was originally posted are unlikely to be interested in the topic (unless they are also following the new location too, but checking for that would probably make it overly complex).

Would be great if you could provide the ability to see the Venue's on a map (like the clubs show up on a map). Possibly list events (future, past) that are happening at Venues. Include Images/Gallery from the Venue and obviously the ability to do review (rate the Venue)

I have a group promotion rule, that members whose last post is older than 365 days AND last visit is older than 365 days will be moved to a special "deactivation group". So, if I create a new member account for a new user in the ACP, and configure this account to be in the "regular membergroup" primary member group, he will immediately be moved to the "deactivation group". Means: NEW MEMBERS == LAST POST > 365 days OR LAST VISIT > 365 days? I think, the last posting activity or last visit activity shouldn't be honored for new accounts, that never had a valid login nor any action. Am I right or am I missing something?

Example of search being difficult on invisioncommunity.com: I was trying to see if there was an update to a certain plugin, which is titled as "Download Category Stats (Widget)" in my ACP by @Josh Bond. So I go to search, filter for Files since I know to only to search Marketplace, and search for "download category." No results. Then I search for "download" with 4 results, none of them correct. The content title is actually "Downloads Category Stats Block Widget." I had a discussion with IPS Support which ended with that they asked me to post this here: ------------------------------ We are using IPB over the API Yet, we still have IPB3 in production use and are able to fetch all posts for a certain topic or user at once, In our development/testversion we use to update our code to IPB4 suddenly it was only possible to fetch as many posts as configured in adminCP for "posts per page". Now, since the latest updates, the count of posts we could fetch over API is hardcoded in system/Api/PaginatedResponse.php to a maximun of 25 posts. We can't really work with that. So I read the news about the upcoming 4.3 release. Maybe I have overlooked this, maybe it wasn't mentioned at all. But here is a thing I'd like to know more about: Are there plans to change how categories work (Downloads App)? It confuses me that if you select a category that contains various sub-categories (with all files being attached to sub-categories), you get a 'There is nothing here yet' page. The way it works seems to be the same like forums and sub-forums. However I see a difference between forums and categories: A parent category should contain all content of all sub-categories, while selecting a sub-category just shows the files within that sub-catego…
