suggestion for the calendar/events, etc API calls is to add a date range feature as a Parameter. As of right now, repetitive API calls must be made to find events for a specific month or date range which increases the load on the server and the database, slowing down the user experience. Being able to specify the range or event the month/year would significantly reduce the number of API calls.

Hi there, I think the new 4.3 feature of "Show Club Content Areas" works well on both Forum and Gallery: (it's under Club content throughout the community in above article) But I am using Fluid forum view and it appears the feature does not work on this forum view. Please consider adding an implementation for this feature on Fluid forum view... perhaps another fluid thread box (for club topics) placed below the main fluid forum view?

I've found Group Promotions a little buggy in 4.2.8, really hoping its improved in 4.3.0. For instance, I had a new member who had posted 3 or 4 times in one of my community forums, but who was never automatically promoted after more than 3 days had gone by, it still said he was in a 'New Members (Not yet posted) Group' that I'd set up for brand new members. Yet other new members were moved as expected into my first members group, after posting just once. The promotion filters could perhaps benefit from the addition of a less than X days ago option and a way to select more than x AND less than Y posts/content, I think the promotions could be simpler and then wo…

Right now we have ability in ACP to restrict using statuses and PM-s but would like to block signatures per member as well. This can be helpful if member has abused signatures.

I think the next few images (in the red box below) should be pre-loaded/pre-fetched so that when the user clicks next, the image loads quicker. Not sure if I'm calling it the right thing for if it's programmatically possible as I'm not a web developer, but I thought I'd share the idea just in case.

A feature I think could be useful is if a customer has a card saved on the system (soon to expire) and a recurring payment setup; they should get an email along the lines of "Card expiring soon. Please update your card details to ensure continued service..."

Its a showdown of the fastest , the new "Quote This" when selecting data you are trying to copy and paste , takes over selected data , you have to race it to get content copied before the "quote This" pops up and de-selects your text Safari Version 11.0.3 (13604.5.6)

Is there a way to set a list of parameters to being 'active' (i.e. posting, liking posts, commenting etc) and set a forum area to only allow access for active users? i.e. PRIVATE FORUM is only accessible by users who have posted at least 10 times in the last week Does this exist or can it be done with rules?

I am currently struggling with the new privacy laws in Germany/European Union, which will come to life at the end of may. According to my lawyer (yes, they are that complex), I am not allowed to embed content from other platforms because of tracking cookies they will set (youtube does, vimeo does, probably other social media sites too ). I disabled the option already. But there is still a ton of embedded content on my site (also in the archive). I desperately need something to convert all embedded content to their static URLs. If not, I can be fined for breaking the new privacy rules.

Hi all. Thoughts on implementing left/right swipe navigation (rather than the left and right navigation buttons) on the 'Our Picks' block on responsive? This will be a prominent section of our community on mobile and I can image it will be a more natural UX rather than the tabbed scroll. Example screenshot and test data below.

Maybe I've missed something, but, there seems to be no easy way (other than pulling out the dev tools) to get the direct URL to the full size images in the gallery? (Right click > copy link is blocked by the lightbox) Most of my users directly paste image urls into posts, no embed box. (Embed boxes are a pain in the butt when you're discussing many specific images that might be in the same album). Could this is added please, most image sharing sites have an input box to copy the direct file link and it seems odd that this isn't available...and given the history of forums and direct image posting, it seems like an oversight.

This is not a feature request, but a suggestion to the management. Do you know the EU-US Privacy Shield? Invisionpower is not listed yet. As long Invisionpower is not listed there, no German (and probably no EU) located forum can use services like the anti SPAM network you provide for you customers. At least is it not legal to do so. Would you (or the management) consider to enlist yourself there? According to my lawyer, it is mandatory if I want to use that service.

So subscriptions - move or add a member to a group - It would be nice to do a "Diff" style report between features or settings between groups and present these settings and then allow admin to make these end users choices. An example: Members --> Gold Subscriber (secondary group) Members see ads, as a Gold Subscriber they would have the option to turn off ads - rather then them just being removed. Members the side bar is static - Gold Subscriber they could toggle it at will. There are probably other settings once they have been granted to the new group by (promotion - or by subscription) would give the end user this choice.

I would like to suggest that the Private Message system be updated so that messages between participants are encrypted, and can only be decrypted by the involved parties. This would mean that even admins could not read those Private Messages and more importantly (heaven forbid) if the database were accessed or downloaded without authority then the meaningful content could not be extracted from the database and used for extortion. Privacy and security are becoming increasingly important, not just for site owners, but also users.
