Hello all, Not sure if anyone else has had this, but within the last 30 days I have had two accounts register with the site and then try and purchase one of our premium products, however they try the purchase like 500 times, so this is definitely a bot. Is there a way to mitigate this from happening ? Thanks, P

Hi, I recently upgraded my IPB forum from an ancient 3.X version to the latest and still facing some issues. 1. I installed a dark theme alongside the default. I personally as the administrator am seeing the Theme selection drop down at the bottom of the board and can switch between themes, but my users are reporting that they cannot see this drop down. I couldn't find any sort of setting whether themes are available to non-admin users. Am I missing some permission somewhere? 2. I purchased the Hebrew translation for the site. We allow PayPal as one of our payment options and recently had a user cancel their subscription based product, but now they're no longer able to make any purchase of any kind. They aren't able to use any of the other payment options either and instead receive an error that payment cannot be completed or their account cannot make any live charges. The account wasn't ever voided for purchases and I'm not quite sure how I can re-enable purchases on their account? We've had users cancel their subscriptions before and there has never been a similar issue.

Hi Everyone - I have a membership/subscription site that I use IP Board for. Is there a built-in feature or report, or even a plugin that helps detect or highlight where usernames and passwords might be shared between multiple people? For example—a user is paying for access for one member but is sharing with two other people? I would imagine IP address could be one indicator, but wasnt sure how others handle this. Thanks!

Dear all There is a error message "You are not permitted to register a user account with this site." when somebody try to make a registration. I didn't have set any restrictions set. What could be the problem ?

Is there a guide on how to set up subscriptions for users? I "sort of" set up one on my test install but when I went to login as a user it said I needed to subscribe but then threw an error for making a payment? Also how do I add users that have already paid a "donation" recently without enabling the subscriptions and blocking their access as once enabled everyone is blocked until they pay? I do see how to add users once the subscriptions are enabled but how to do that before enabling? Thanks for any help!

I just renewed my purchase today. The renewal term should have been for one year out from today, but it appears that the expiration date has been extended beyond that timeframe. Also, should the "Renew Now" option be visible this far out in time?

Hello all in dire need of some assistance. Move my invision board to a new host. The forum seems to be working fine. I am able to log in etc. When I go to log into the admin I get the error below in the console. Any ideas how to fix this? I had posted this here but they suggested I should post here.

Hello, when i use Checkbox Set in profile fields settings, every checkbox has same value attribute - value="1". When i move order or remove some items, their content swaps in user settings. If i use Select box instead, every option has its own value and i can move or remove options without unwanted change in user settings. Is this a bug in case of Checkbox Set? 🤔 In admin settings every item has its own value attribute in both cases.

When a member on my ignore list creates a Topic, I still see the Topic, but when I open it, the first post shows a message that the user is being ignore. Should it not just hide the entire topic? Granted you may see others post, but you'll have no context to the OP's initial post if you have them hidden.

So we have a Private Forum setup where a member can only see Topics that they themselves have started. Of course, the Staff can see them all. We have a situation where Member A posted a topic in this private area, but then random Member B got a notification that said "Member A posted a topic in Private Forum: Topic Title". When Member B clicked on it, he got the message that he didn't have permission to see the post. Fortunately, the Title/Subject itself didn't contain any sensitive information. But still, a random general member should not have had such a notification.
