Started messing more with IPS4, and tried to create a block pulling a custom RSS feed... and for some reason, it's pulling in the titles of the feed and such which is great, but it's giving every single item a date of 1 Jan 1970. Which, obviously, is wrong. You can find a validated version of the feed in question (with source) at W3C's validator. As you can see, we give date and time in the format of: <dc:date>2015-04-03T16:03:00+00:00</dc:date> Is IPS's feed reader looking for something else?

Hi Hi! a couple weeks ago i merged 2 ip.board forums and now i notice that some users has a wrong join dates on their profile for example if they had registered on 2010 now it shows a different join dates its probably because they had the same user name and email address on both sides while i merged forums but im asking if its possible to change user join dates manually on database? i really need to do this and its important

I'm upgrading our test forum to 4 so that I can create a new skin. Once I have that I'll upgrade our live forum. But. One thing that I'm confused by is it says to download the IPS folder from my client area (done). Then upload the contents of that folder to the root forum folder via ftp and overwrite when prompted. Are they saying I should overwrite my "uploads" folder with theirs? I believe that would delete all our forums images? But if they are saying to "drill down" into the deepest depths of the folders and overwrite any updated files or add any new ones that would take hours or days with the other folders...LOL. Hi, Help! One of my moderator erased by mistake a very important topic on our board. I'm going to restore it from a backup, but do you know which tables would need to be restored? There are obviously the forums_topics and the forums_posts records, but do you know if there are other records from other tables that I need to restore? Maybe the core_reputation_index also? I wouldn't break something… Thanks a lot

Hello, I need to be able to add different banners at the top of multiple pages, forums and sub forums. Now i started off with the advertisement feature IP Board has to offer but gives me the same add across all pages (will get to the custom location in a second) and that's not what i wanted. Then just tried doing custom blocks and add one to each page. Whilst this worked for all my pages, when it comes to forums, the forums (home) page itself can be edited with a custom block in footer and will have no effect on forums/sub forums/topic. However when inserting a custom block/ad into any one of the specific forums/sub forums it effects all of them. My question, …

Hello, I have created two fields, for a database, in Pages. One is "content", the other is "Bibliography". I use my own template. I'm a bit bummed by the technical 'support' I received about this problem and it appears I need to wait a fair while between support replies so I'm begging you all for some help with this issue as I really need to get a bulk mail out. Ultimately, notifications and bulk emails to small numbers of people (< 10) work fine. My usual monthly mailout to 50,000 people is now (for the first time) complaining about a Mandrill communication error. When I did into the logs in Mandrill I see a populated 'to' key in the response to the small send outs and an empty 'to' key with the big mail outs. Hello, There is an Urgent issues!! I've completed all transfermation from 3.4.8 to 4.0.13.1, but I found all post and topic can't be opened. All staff's account and member's account can't open the posts. But guests can! And when I adjusted the permission of them in ACP and saved, the status of permission didn't be changed. Here is the problem screenshot. Please help us! It's really urgent for us!!!

The new 4.1 navigation is something which I will need to heavily modify on a few of my themes (both premade and custom) since a "double bar" layout simply won't be possible. I can quite easily turn the navigation into dropdown menus using css but I need help in removing the hover/delayed class function which has been implemented for the tabs (the function which adds/removes .ipsNavBar_active to the hovered <li> after mouse movement has stopped). I won't need it for dropdown menu's and it'll give the impression of a laggy theme if the delay is still present. What's the best way to do this?
